Rating: Summary: As Interesting As Madden Can Be. Review: FOX Commentator John Madden's book All Madden, Hey, I'm Talking Pro Football, is a nice little romp through the meaningless things All Madden. You ever watch a game and hear John babble on about the socks a player is wearing, or how he went ice fishing after a Vikings game? Well the same thing goes with this book. He babbles on and on about weird things, but he does come up with a lot of great insights and football facts just like he does in game commentaries.I just wish they had use the word 'Hey' a little less.

Rating: Summary: John madden is the Greatest. Review: John madden is absolutely awesome. He writes just like he announces games, which is great because you aren't supposed to write like you talk. There's a chapter called, "Hating the Cowboys is Healthy"! Hwo can you not love this guy? Buy the book if you're even remotely interested in football.
Rating: Summary: boom! if you like Madden, you'll enjoy this book Review: The persona of John Madden really comes through in this book, which describes the basics of his role in the NFL over the years and his reflections on the current state of the game. Every now and then you get the little Maddenisms that fill his football telecasts and his many video games, but this is mainly a serious book in which John is simply talking about what he knows best: Ace hardware. No, of course, it's football. It's like he's sitting on the back porch with you and you ask him "John, who's the best quarterback ever to play the game?" and he tells you who and why. Or "John, what's your best coaching memory?" Or "John, what would you do if you were the NFL Commissioner?" If you have watched many games with Madden as the commentator, you might be able to anticipate a lot of what he says in this book, but it still makes for interesting reading for football fans.
