Summary: Great From Start To Finish
Review: The whole book talks about T.O's hardship throughtout his life. It tells you how he made such sacrificing decisions on his lifelong journey to stardom. He has fought through racisim and faught against people who did not believe in him, and got through it. On and off the field he gives 100% to do what he has to do whether its,
taking care of his mother, giving money to charity, or out on the field catching footballs. He shows true heart and character.
I highly say pick up this book, if you dont you are missing out on alot. In this book it shows how he stuck through hard times even though others would just give up. You should respect these players more then you probably should be. He has also given money to a variety of charities and therefore should be thanked. Terrell Owens is a great example as a charasmatic and respectful person, dont miss out on this book!

Summary: Garbage
Review: A stupid book. This guy is a jerk who decided to write a self serving book because his agent thought it would help his image. It doesn't.

Summary: Great Book.
Review: All the people who say TO is an egocentric prick or something like that are just stupid. You don't know him, you just think you do. You let your judgment be clouded by all the things that are written about him. Why do so many people hate TO? Cuz he pulled out a sharpie and signed a ball or other stuff like that? Like TO says in this book, there are drugusers and dealers, murdersuspects, wifebeaters, drunkdrivers and a hell of alot more players in the NFL and he gets critisized for pulling a sharpie out of his sock. All the previous named players don't get nothing but praises. That's weird. I like the guy, I don't say I know him but I like his actions. TO says in this book that the NFL stands for the No Fun League and that's how I see it. Everything has to go by the book. Players aren't even allowed to have endzone dances. That's lame, grow up NFL. Just read this book and decide for yourself. The fact is that he is a great receiver and I hope Philly will win the big one this year and no I am not from Philly ;)

Summary: a winner on the field and in life is this man
Review: cover to cover, inspiring and fine read, tells the story by the man who lives it! Fast paced and accurate account (let's see if anyone challenges the facts--NOT) Philadelphia should be proud to have such a man championing the city, this is a book about a man and a football player

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Terrell Owens, the man on and off the football field.
Review: The book is about how football star, Terrell Owens, had to go through many obstacles and pain to get where he is right now. When Terrell was a little kid, many people would always pick on him and make some racial remarks about him. After hearing through all this negativity about him, Terrell decided to train hard to become the best football player ever, and to make lots of money to provide for his family and let his mother retire from working in the factory. After playing well in college, Terrell got drafted in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. After few years of backing up Jerry Rice, Terrell finally was a starting receiver for the 49ers and he made it to the Pro Bowl, where he was considered one of the elite players in the league.
I would recommend this book for readers of all ages because I have learned what kind of person Terrell really is. Many sports writers and analysts think Terrell Owens is a bad figure to sports because he would always do celebrations after scoring a touchdown. I disagree with those people because I have learned that Terrell Owens is an honest person who cares for his family. I have learned that Terrell is a very religious person and he always cares for his grandmother, who has Alzheimer's disease. I admire the fact that Terrell uses the negativity that surrounds him and uses it to his advantage to become the person that he is today.

Summary: This book is like Beowolf meets Hamlet and eats him
Review: This is such a great book! Upon reading the whole thing, I was reminded of one time when I was talking to Mama Cass on the phone and she said "I'm gotta go, I just finished making the ham sandwich and I am STARVING".

It was that good.

I mean TO is like Jesus only with more attitude, kinda like if He wore flannel and guzzled beer.

Summary: The best thing to ever happen to the Eagles, besides McNabb
Review: To the true eagles fans, this guy is exactly what we needed. the morale in the eagles franchise had to be somewhat low after 3 yrs in the championsship and not making it in. I felt it. So is TO eccentric? egotistical? self servinngg. Yes, and why shouldn't he be. he's good. no, he's great. he learned form a guy in san fran who most people seem to think is a god. that's all fine and dandy if you a 49ers fan or oakland, or seattle now, but it's been a long timme sinnce the Eagles kicked some but like they have this season.
It's good to be confident and even cocky in your own abilities. i can't afford not to be. so why should he.
this book, maybe self-indulgent, but isn't every autobiography? i mean really, who cares what Hillary clinton did during her time in the white house anymore. or her sidekick Bill. and those are amongst the top selling, like they need more money too?

TO Rocks. TO & McNabb=Superbowl Champs this year and hopefully a few more to come. It's time for the Eagles to Rule the Roost.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Turn of the Screw
Review: Would you buy an "autobiography" written by a compulsive liar and self-promoter? If anything, like Henry James' famous ghost story, it should give new meaning to the idea of the unreliable narrator.

Here, let me place it on the imaginery shelf where I keep Keyshawn's autobio and Bilbo Baggins' There and Back Again.

Think about it: The man makes millions. Isn't there more you can do with yours than feed his narcissism?

But if you're looking for an inspirational sports story, check out The Sweet Season by Austin Murphy.
