Summary: This is the Earnhardt Bible
Review: I'm a stats junkie, but I wasn't prepared for this book. The author obviously did his homework for this book. Everything you need to know about Dale's career is here. Each of Earnhardt's seasons is presented with 20 categories worth of stats. His performance at each track is presented with 22 categories of stats. How in-depth is this book? You'll learn that Dale is the modern era leader in lead-lap finishes at Daytona (28, topping second place Bill Elliott and Ken Schrader who have 24 each). Can any other book provide that kind of information? Anyone looking for the definitive guide to Dale's career can stop looking. This is your book.

Summary: You want the full skinny on The Intimidator? This is it...
Review: If you are a serious Earnhardt fan this is the book you are looking for. I follow several sports and have purchased many sports books and I always look for books that provide detailed statistics. This one is the best I have ever come across. No other book can give you this kind of detail about Dale. For example, you can see where Dale ranked in the Winston Cup point standings in 1983 after race No. 21 (7th, 548 points behind Bobby Allison) or race 22 in 1987 (1st, 608 points ahead of Bill Elliott) or any other race in his career. Season by season or at each track, you can see where he ranked in wins, Top 5s, Top 10s, laps led, percentage led, average start, average finish, miles completed, lead-lap finishes, and a dozen other categories. The stats are awesome. If you really want to know something about Earnhardt, this is the only book you'll ever need.

Review: Let me say first that this book only remindedd me of the 94 Brickyard where me & my wife sawd him whiles we was tryin to get an autograph. I must tell you that there are so many facts & numbers that it will make your head spin, kinda like being in the infield at Daytona after a case of Busch beer. It made a good addition to our Earnhardt wall clock

Summary: stats, stats and more stats and stats you never thought of
Review: Let me say that I am a NASCAR and huge Dale Earnhardt fan! This book is a must have for ANY Dale fan. There are other stat books in the making by the same author of other great NASCAR drivers like Jeff Gordon. I had to have this book. This book is a testimonial of how great of a driver Dale was. You can't compare Dale to Richard Petty and you can't compare Jeff Gordon to Dale because of the different eras and technology in stock car racing but Dale was the best of his era and many other great NASCAR drivers like Ned Jarrett and Junior Johnson think he was the best ever. I agree!!! This book has every imaginable stat of Dale. From year by year to track breakdowns and even his IROC stats. A must have for any Earnhardt fan. We miss you Dale! Thanks for the memories!!! Rest In Peace!

Summary: In-depth data on Earnhardt's career
Review: This book is cool. It's loaded with career statistics, text regarding special events, the good times, the bad times, the championships, and more. It's also FULL of great pictures of the late great Dale Earnhardt. Highly recommend it. A must for all NASCAR fans!

Summary: Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!
Review: This has to be the most original take on Earnhardt I've seen. Most of the other books are light-weight, long-winded remembrances from sportswriters. This book presents Earnhardt's career from beginning to end, season by season and track-by-track. Literally all of the stats are here. I knew a lot about Dale, but never knew he achieved so much - especially early in his career. I didn't realize he won the seventh race of his rookie season. Then he won his first championship in 1980 in just his second season, beating out the legends (Yarborough, Petty, Allison and Waltrip). I knew Dale was great but this book does more to illustrate his greatness than any other book I've read (and I've read them all). If you are a NASCAR fan or a Dale fan, you will enjoy this book.
