Rating: Summary: Breast Cancer and the Mountains Review: I laughed and cried my way through this book of awesome will and determination. A must read for all women whether they face breast cancer or not. An inspirational book for women mountaineers. Laura's story of triumph is motivating to people in all walks of life. Her ultimate death in 2000 of a brain tumor is certainly not the last chapter in her life and legacy as the founder of Expedition Inspiration Fund for Breast Cancer Research.

Rating: Summary: Once upon a time.... Review: One day I was shopping in L.L. Bean saw this book picked it up and couldn't put it down until I had to go. I have been wondering where I could get that book ever since, and now I've found it. I don't have cancer and yet I LOVE it! Truly inspirational
Rating: Summary: If you liked this book.... Review: you'll like "No Mountain Too High, A Triumph Over Breast Cancer," which is the story of the 17 breast cancer survivors who comprised the core of Laura Evan's Expedition Inspiration. I was the journalist on the climb and had the honor of climbing with Laura and the other 16 women, as well as spending over two years researching their stories: from illness and treatment to recovery and rebuilding of their lives. Laura assembled a formidable team of women, all of whom became and remain good friends. Each year since the climb of Aconcagua, the team reconvenes for an annual reunion. Whether you have breast cancer or not, as I discovered from being with these incredible women, there are life lessons to be learned.
