Summary: Denali Trails
Review: As a natural history guide, this is pretty impressive. It is a little misleading to call it "Denali Trails" as most of Denali National Park has no trails... but it is a great trail companion for those looking for insights about the park ecosystem on the east side of the park. If you're planning to take the shuttle bus into the remote areas of the park to hike, I recommend getting a topo map instead. But if you want to do a short day hike in the more developed areas accessible by car, this is the guide booklet you need.

Summary: Denali Trails
Review: This pamphlet (as it can hardly be called a book) is a waste of both paper and money. It only covers 7 trails all located at the Denali Park Hotel. The longest trail is only 2.5 miles and three of the trails are ¾ of a mile or less. This same information can be had for free at the visitor center on one sheet of paper.

Summary: Nature of Denali
Review: When I first visited Denali, I was under the impression that there were no trails in the park--at least I couldn't find them on my map. It turns out, though, that there are several trails around the park entrance that are pretty cool to hike and I never would have found them without this book. One of my favorite past-times now is to hike up to Mt Healy and watch from that beautiful place while the busses load below.
