Review: The book plainly sucks! It's so poorly organized with a lousy index of the author's own devising that you will spend hours trying to figure out an itinerary! There's even a page in the back of the book that's printed upside down! Enough said! Don't buy this amateur edition until the revision comes out with a professional index, or you'll be very disappointed!

Review: There is a lot of good information in this book. I'm not quite sure why the previous reviewer found it so confusing. The lodging is in alphabetical order by state, although there are no divisions or distinctions between the states in the book.

Also, the maps are a little hard to read - it would be better to have a map of each state showing the location of each facility. Instead, the author chose to lump large regions of the country together on a single page and the maps are not particularly good quality maps.

In the next edition, the author needs to add web site and e-mail addresses. After finding lodging in the states I was looking for, I did a web search to see which ones had web pages. All the ones I looked at had web pages, but they are not listed in the book.

Overall, I think it's a good starting point for people looking for Christian retreats and lodging. But, you will have to do some additonal leg work on your own to find details on each facility.
