Summary: A great inspirational book - even if you are not a athlete
Review: A very cool book - love Collen Howe/Mrs. Hockey's "Turtle Theory"- Be hard on the outside and soft on the inside and willing to stick out your neck to get ahead.

Rating: 5 stars

Summary: Nice Complement To Adrain's First Book
Review: I liked Lorne Adrain's first book ("The Most Important Thing I Know") and am very glad to see this new addition! It's great! The quotes from some of the best known (and some lesser known) sports heroes are compelling!

Summary: Excellent book -- not just for athletes.
Review: In this book, outstanding athletes share their words of wisdom. I like the fact that Lorne Adrain gives a synopsis of each athlete's background. Therefore, the book is educational and inspirational at the same time. I gave this book to my brother for his birthday --- He doesn't like to read but read every word of this book. Great gift.

Summary: A heartfelt collection from our most beloved sports heroes.
Review: In this inspirational collection, some of the sports world's best-known athletes and coaches share important lessons and insights on leadership, excellence, teamwork, and victory. Here are page after page of memorable quotes from Muhammad Ali, Yogi Berra, Nadia Comaneci, Chris Evert, Wayne Gretzky, Florence Griffith Joyner, Grant Hill, Bela Karolyi, Tara Lipinski, Mark McGwire, Mark Spitz, Steve Young and many more, all handwritten and signed on their personal stationery, and accompanied by a brief description of career highlights and biographical facts. This is pure inspiration, with the underlying message that it is not what you achieve that is important, but the underlying spirit in everything you attempt. *** All author proceeds support the athletes of the Special Olympics.*** Lorne A. Adrain is the author of The Most Important Thing I Know, and was a former President of the Rhode Island Special Olympics. He lives in Providence, Rhode Island, with his wife, novelist Ann Hood, and their three children.

Summary: Fantastic Customer Gift
Review: We have used Adrain's other book (The Most Important Thing I Know) as a gift for customers attending a technical presentation that our company gave. This book looks to be another opportunity -- and very inexpensive (comparitively).
