Review: If you are over fifty and love classic motorcycles, don't give this book a miss. The drawings by Nick Ward, although comical, are in a class of their own. The attention to detail comes only from exceptionally talented artists.

The writer has researched this subject so thoroughly, one gets a first hand straight and direct insight into the just how these machines came to be.

If you are lucky enough to own a classic, you will know it even better having read this book.

Excellent articles on the Ace Cafe in London and the history of Plumstead's AMC (Matchless, AJS, Norton...) factory and it's demise.
