Review: A really enjoyable book from start to finish. Reminded me of Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. Kids will love it.

Summary: Intermediate Level Reading Fun -- A Big Winner!
Review: This wonderful book was one of the most-checked-out titles in my classroom library. I eventually had to get a second and third copy to meet my students' demand for the book. Not since "Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn" has a book turned pre-teens into book worms like "Dear Mrs. Ryan". This is a "Harry Potter" without any of the controversy.

The reasonable length is not as threatening to less avid readers; a big plus at the intermediate level. Good, clean fun for kids. I'm tempted to use this book as a general reader for the entire class. Highly recommeded!*****

Summary: mischievous clean fun back in fashion
Review: Wow! How great to read a book that makes you laugh out loud. You really get inside the head of a young boy and can feel his struggle with trying to not be different, not stand out or be noticed as anything but one of the guys. This book I am buying for all of my grandkids. What a fun movie this would make! I'm waiting in line to see what else this new author Jennifer Jones comes up with.
