Summary: basic secrets
Review: Wing Chun is not speed and punch. The secret is in energy and sensitivity, Yin and Yang (Alfa & Omega). I found this book to be really helpful and valuable. Of course you must have practiced the Siu Lim Tao before, in order to correct mistakes and reach higher levels. Wing Chun is not only movements, but a philosophy, if you don't have the basics you can not reach higher levels. Thanks a lot to Yip Chun and Michael Tse for this wonderful book.
Have a great day!.

Summary: Good historically, not practically
Review: Yip Chun and Michael Tse's book is good historically but not practically; this is the first book I bought when I began Wing Chun, but I could not put it much into practice as the form is performed and then suddenly Yip Chun is in one position then another. In addition to that, his structure throught out is not a very good one, it is better though than James Yimm Lee's "Wing Chun Kung Fu", a seasoned veteran of Wing Chun can tell you that his book shows how lost he was. All in all this book is good narratively in describing Yip Man's encounters.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Lacking Punch
Review: Yip Chun does a good enough job with basic history and information, but not enough on detail. As with his previous titles, he does a poor job providing detailed pictures to demonstrate proper application. This title would be fine for novices but terrible for practitioners.
