Summary: Ya Gotta Believe Its Another Mets Book
Review: This book was an average read as far as accounts of the history of the New York Mets go. Admittedly, I have been spoiled by some excellent ones recently, but this book just did not meet the standard to me.

The best parts of the book are the trivia questions and the brief biographies of key Mets players. The rest of the book contained numerous errors in grammar and spelling (I know, the fault of the editor, not the author). There were also several factual errors and contradictions, as well as some awkward writing. What bothered me the most were the holes in the story where it seemed like whole chunks had been left out. Several of the accounts of individual games left out key plays or developments. It read like the author was unfamiliar with the team and was writing it from reading newspaper accounts only.

Overall, a quick and somewhat entertaining read, but with some faults. If you can pick it up cheap, it might be worth it to a collector of Mets memorabilia. At least stump your friends with the trivia.
