Rating: Summary: My Review: Review: "The Grandmasters's Book of Ninja Training" Is a very good book! But a even better book of Hatsumi's is "Ninjutsu History and Tradition". I highly recomend that you read both! GojuNinja
Rating: Summary: Silent, swift, deadly... and very informative Review: As a foolish amateur, I believed that a black costume, hood for disguise, diamond-tipped throwing stars, and a cool nickname (I chose "A.J.") was all I needed to be a ninja. "The Grandmaster's Book of Ninja Training" not only brought my ninja ignorance to the forefront, it taught me that being a ninja is as much a responsibility, as it is a way of life. Clearly wise beyond his years, Masaaki Hatsumi provides us with detailed insight on what it takes to be a ninja. From "Silent Footsteps" to "Hands of Rage", Hatsumi will teach you all the techniques you need to be a successful ninja in today's slowing economy and lukewarm job market.

Rating: Summary: The truth is in there! Review: Concise and to the point..Does away with the superficialities of the Martial Arts and shows what it's all about... Dispells some misunderstandings about the art that is Ninjutsu and there are lessons in it that are applicable in all walks of life and not just the training hall. I recommend it to all people regardless of whether they are martial artists or not.
Rating: Summary: Interesting book Review: First of all, this book isn't going to teach you haw to be a ninja. But it is an interesting interview with the ninja master. I read it in a day.
Rating: Summary: Excellent advice! Review: Hatsumi is such an intelligent man! In this book he not only gives advice yourcan usetowards the art of ninjutsu but also advice for life!!
Rating: Summary: Pirates beware! Review: I read this book right before bedtime and it got me so pumped up that I kicked my mom right in the face! TOONGA!!!
Rating: Summary: Invaluable wisdom for the TRUE warrior! Review: If what you want are "ninja" stealth and assassin techniques, you're looking at the wrong book. This book is simply an interview with Soke (Grandmaster) Masaaki Hatsumi about warriorship and the *true* meaning of ninjutsu. Being a ninja, a warrior, stretches far beyond merely being an undefeatable pugilist. For those interested in the social/spiritual aspects of warriorship, this is certainly a book you must own. Also look into Shidoshi Jack Hoban's book "Ninpo"--another priceless addition to the martial artist's literary collection.
