Review: Naked on the First Tee is an excellent, 'must have' for all ages. Being the south side of a half century, to take up golf was very daunting. Ms. Kelly has made it easy. Her advice is clear, concise and simple. Because of her book there is a lot less fear when taking that first swing. It is truly an essential guide for all new women golfers and I suspect an essential review for all. Ms. Kelly, through her little pink book, has made is an enjoyable, yet knowledgeable experience for all.

Review: Picked up this excellent little book while in British Columbia as a gift for my wife. Well written and very informative for the golfing novice on the rules and etiquettte of the game - a MUST for any beginner. Will give any new lady golfer confidence from the outset. Before I left I bought 3 extra copies as gifts for other friends.

Summary: Almost Naked After the First Tee
Review: The book was informative and helpful to a point. I would like to have seen a few more helpful hints on golf etiquette and a few more simple "how to" items. It was also geared toward people that will be playing at semi-private or private clubs. There are not many public courses that have washrooms, etc. on the course. I thought it may be a bit misleading in terms of what to expect for beginners on public courses. All-in-all, it was a good book, but not as helpful as I had hoped.

Review: This book didn't do much for me. I was hoping for a little more, sincethe subtitle is, after all, "an essential guide for new womengolfers." There's just not much information here, and what thereis is too general. Very little of the information in here isgender-specific, except for the tip to bring lipstick and the optionwomen have to wear a skirt. Everything else applies just as much tomen as it does to women. If you already know what's appropriate towear and what the different clubs are used for, this book probablywon't help you get over any first-tee jitters.

Review: This is an excellent intro for new golfers. In addition, as a Marshall on a local Golf Course, I believe this book could and should be read by men as well. It holds a wealth of valuable information and reminders for ALL golfers to help make the game more enjoyable for everyone.
