Rating: Summary: More of a sales pitch than an informative read Review: I was very disappointed with this book. The book was more of an advertising medium for the authors solunar table and many other items not particularly relevant to the topic of the book. There was way to much worshipping of Myles Keller, which the author time and again used to prop is book up with. If this was taken out, there would not be to much in the book. The drawings in the book were disappointing as well. I would have liked to see a lot more information on moon phases and animal activity, such as that presented in "Hunting Whitetails by the Moon" by Charles J. Alsheimer. I would recommend the purchase of the Alsheimer book instead of the this book.
Rating: Summary: A must read for the serious deer hunter Review: My skepticism of moon phases and their relationship to whitetail deer hunting were certainly subdued by reading this book. Hard data is presented to show correlations between the different moon phases and how they affect the movements and habits of deer. You may not beleive the moon has much to do with the cycles and patterns of deer but I guarantee after reading this book you will want to begin to track the moon to either prove or disprove your own beliefs. This is good stuff!
