Summary: This is a great goose hunting book!
Review: There were some great chapters in this book especially, concealment and "hot spots". The author will tell it like it is and I am glad he does. I was considering buying a bale blind but, I will listen to his advice and scrap that idea. I like the Final Approach blind a lot better and will follow his advice. Thanks - Amazon.Com for selling me the book.

Summary: GREAT BOOK!
Review: This book tells you how to - hunt the nuisance & migrating Canadas, the snows and late season snows. It explains, how to hunt, what you need, what you don't need, where and when. VERY GOOD BOOK!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: the best hunting book that I have ever read
Review: This book told me everything that I wanted to know about how to hunt Canadas and snows. It tells you what you need and what you don't need. It is well written and very imformative. I read it 6 times and will read it again.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An excellent book! I will recommend it.
Review: This is the best waterfowl book that I have ever read.

Summary: A poor reflection on hunting and hunters.
Review: This is the worst book on hunting I've ever read. The author has no love of geese, to which he constantly refers as "those damn geese." Nor does he seem to appreciate the hunt. His only interest is in "killing those damn geese." To the author, the only reason for hunting is killing. The only reason for geese is to kill them.

The author goes into some detail about techniques, including decoying and concealment, and this may be helpful to beginners. However, anyone with interest in learning how to hunt should read any number of books written by people who are hunters, not killers.

Summary: An excellent goose hunting book. Maybe the best ever!
Review: You can learn a lot by reading this book! The chapter on concealment was great especially, the part about blinds.I have been using that stupid BALE BLIND and hoping a brain-dead goose would fly over but, they all flare off the field that the blind is in. Not laying in the decoy spread is a good idea. I am going to try it next time. Another thing I learned is, those TEXAS RAGS are junk and don't work. I am going to burn mine. A super book!

Summary: I would recommend this book. It was super!
Review: You can learn a lot from reading this book. It teaches you how to hunt Canada and snow geese. It dwells on concealment, picking the right fields to set up in, decoys, decoy placements, calling and when not to call, shooting, where to hunt and when. The book is loaded with good information. It could be the best waterfowl book ever written. I have read 4 other books that Dennis Hunt has written and they only get better. He has taught me all I know. I was a clutz before I started reading his books. I would like to hunt with him some day.
