Tons of good pictures and drawings, and has a complete list of where to buy every item the they talk about in the book. It is written buy guys who fish the Mid-West, but I found it really usefull for here in New England!

Review: In-Fisherman's "ICE FISHING SECRETS" is an excellent choice for novice or advanced hard-water anglers. They cover so many topics; from locations to equipment, bait and lures, multiple species, and different types of water patterns. These guys are enthusiasts, and have experienced all facets of the ice fishing game. I don't think any avid ice angler could ever go wrong here. I refer to it numerous times each season, both for information, and pleasant "story-telling" type reading. If you've tried ice fishing, this will help. And if you haven't, this should convince you to give it a go! These experts really "cover" it all, when the grips of winter cover your favorite fishin' spots. The action no longer ends in December. It just heats up!
