Summary: A BOOK THAT WAS MY INSPIRATION
Review: As were all of Tristan Jones' books, this book too was an inspiration that gave me the fortitude to continue building my own boat and then to sail the south Pacific and Asianwaters. I paid tribute to Tristan by devoting a chapter to him in my book "At Home In Asia," and I wrote about him again in my last book "The Last Voyage: the Story of Schooner Third Sea." I was fortunate to have known Tristan and I think of him often. He was an incredible man. Tristan did add a comment to my last book when he heard of my own person loss before he died.
