Summary: A lot of good information - even for the novice hunter
Review: In spite of being a beginning hunter, I found this book to be a good resource. Many illustrations, and discussion on basic technique. (Of course, a major focus of the book is how to bag that trophy buck, so most discussions tend in that direction.) I've found there are two types of hunting books, stories and "how to do it". This book is in the latter category and is what I was looking for. How to: Still hunt, stand hunt, track in the snow, reduce scent, scout, etc. I first checked it out from our library, and now I'm getting a copy for my own.
