Summary: Especially good for locals... but any fisherman will enjoy
Review: I had a hard time putting this book down. I found the book to be interesting memoirs of a hard-core fly fisherman.. I have just begin to explore fly fishing and could appreciate the authors many tips. As I am fairly familiar with the Catskill Region and have fished a number of the streams, rivers, reservoirs there, I found his references very useful and detailed. His chapter, "the un-explained" sent chills through me and is an example of how this book is so much more than just about fly fishing. I would highly recommend this book to anyone familar with the area but it can also be enjoyed by others as well.
