Summary: Good reading!
Review: The trail reviews are pretty comprehensive and informative, and quite interesting. Trails are rated for difficulty on a simple easy-moderate-strenuous scale, and the reviews are obviously written from a first-hand observer's view. I heartily recommend it to a casual hiker like myself, and it seems that there is useful information for experienced hikers as well.

Summary: Good resource, but take a map
Review: This book has a comprehensive list of hiking trails in Georgia, and has good descriptions. My only caution would be to reference a map when driving to the trailhead. I followed the directions in the book on a recent hike and got lost, later to find the directions included at least one typo and were either out of date (Highway numbers changed) or just wrong.
