Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Comprehensive guide that allows seeing areas beyond Cotopaxi
Review: We were able to explore areas that hardly any foriegners had visited since several of hikes are new to this edition. Imagine they will be ruined soon but hopefully other travellers will take care not to flaunt their wealth to villagers. Recommned super hike to Anagamarca.

Summary: Climbing & Hiking in Ecuador
Review: When I want to describe the sort of far-out guides that Bradt publishes, this is the one that comes to mind. No publisher with their eye on the bottom line would produce a guide which narrows down the readership to folk who want to walk and climb in one small country in South America! But since its publication in 1984 what pleasure it has given that small but elite group of adventure travellers. Rob Rachowiecki and his subsequent assistants knew that there is no substitute for first-hand knowledge. Every walk and climb has been given the attention for accuracy that is essential in a potentially dangerous activity.
