Summary: The perfect place to start.
Review: Never mind the reviews that claim this is the best book for young sailors just starting out. At 40 and in my first boat in 20 years, it is the perfect match. Every thing I need to get my feet wet without having to read volumes of nautical tactics. The illustrations are every bit as valuable, making the whole adventure a lot less overwelming. Thinking about getting your first boat, but your're unsure of what to do? Start here!

The kids found it easy to follow, and the adults found it easy to establish a lesson plan based on the structure of the book.
