Rating: Summary: For benchrest shooters only Review: This book is definitly for benchrest shooters only. It does not live up to its name of the "Ultimate" because it only addresses one area. Many more stories than useful information. Would not recommend for the average recreational shooter or hunter.

Rating: Summary: A bible for the knowledgable shooter Review: This book is the best read for those seeking information on benchrest shooting. For those like me just seeking to load and shoot with more accuracey it's invaluable. One of my three best shooting books. Buy it.
Rating: Summary: A defnite but incomplete guide to the common shooter Review: This is abook that defines the ABCD's bt eventually not in the ABCD's of the common shooter.A guide to the known is a much better put sentence!
Rating: Summary: Excellent. The single most informative source available Review: This is about benchrest riifle shooting, and that's where rifle accuracy grows. Mr. Newick's book addresses the cutting edge technology needed to make little bitty holes at range with five shots. The practices and principles, clearly laid out, xan be used by anyone to improve the performance of any rifle, but this is about going for the ultimate.
Rating: Summary: The ultimate in rifle accuracy by Glen Newick Review: Tremendous for low cost book. I agree with other reviewers. This book is not for the average Joe, lots of heavy reading. It has much on bench rest loading and shooting and worth wading if you have the patience. Otherwise, pick the chapters that apply to your interests and it is informative. A bit above me.
Rating: Summary: Modern and timely instructional work Review: Where Page's book has dated and become near irrelevant, this takes up. It is not for the so-called "common" shooter, it is for those shooters who aspire to be the best possible precision rifle shooter. Critisize the writing style? Ridiculous! How can a shooter who takes one cartridge deer hunting if he has but one deer tag be maligned for not meeting the needs of the "common" shooter?
Rating: Summary: The Ultimate Rifle Accuracy Books Review: Whether it be for Competition, Testing, or Hunting, I have always been the type of gal who seeks the ultimate in rifle accuracy. So when I found this cheerful book on one of my late-night amazon browsing sessions, I knew it had to be mine. As soon as the book arrived I read it cover-to-cover, and all I can say is WOW. My rifle is now so accurate that I can shoot anything, if you catch my drift. I must extend a big "thanks" to Glenn Newick, who really takes the "if" out of "rifle"!
