Summary: Not quite in the same league as his others
Review: Douglass is the victim of his own excellence. I have used his cruising books for Puget Sound, BC, and Alaska and have found them superb. This one is not quite in the same league.

An annoying nit is that it includes a lot of page fillers, such as suggested routes to Alaska (reproduced from his Alaskan guide), even though they have nothing to do with the topic in hand.

Still, this is the best cruising guide for covering the west coast.
