Review: Hi readers, Writers have a saying, 'write what you know.' For the past 14 years I've known soccer. Each week-end during soccer season, I've been on soccer fields cheering my daughters' teams on so it seemed only right that I should write the first official biography of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team. Last summer, I spent one incredible week with these extraordinary young athletes and what I learned you will read in ALL AMERICAN GIRLS. Though my publisher, Simon & Schuster, catagorizes ALL AMERICAN GIRLS as a young adult (meaning teenager) book, people of all ages will enjoy reading about these young women who proved to all those doubting Thomas's that American women athletes, when given the chance, can deliver an exciting game fans want to watch. Summary: All The Secrets Of The US Team Come Out
Review: I couldn't put All American Girls down from the moment I picked it up! I expected to find facts about my favorite players and maybe learn a little bit about those who weren't as familiar. Instead I found myself hurrying to read each new page; I found myself crying and laughing as I felt a deep respect for these professional women and their families. I found that my chaotic life isn't as bad as it once seemed, that spending almost every waking moment on the soccer field is worth every second (even if my daughter's experience doesn't lead her to the World Cup). From now on, when I'm sitting in my chair, sunburned from hours of baking under the sweltering California sun, I will think of Marla's book. I will consider what Mia, Julie and Michelle's parents must have gone through. When my friend's say to me, "Get a life", I'll remember that I have one of the best. And, when my younger children say that I'm not fair for spending "too much time on the field", I'll remind them that their own hard work will always pay off. Watching the World Cup games have never been more fun! Thanks Marla

Review: If you are a fan of any player on the US womens team and wonder what they do in there life (Yes they do have a life out side of soccer)this is the book for you. Your brothers picking on you saing girls cant play sports. Will now you can prove him wrong. Hand him this book tell him to read the first page, it will make him think twice before he makes fun of womens soccer again. This book has each player tell about there life in and out of soccer. They tell of all the interesting hobbies they have and some of am even rat on there team mates. If you buy this book and dont enjoy reading it you are not a true womens soccer fan.

Summary: Great way to learn what makes the USA women players tick
Review: It's a fun read. You can jump in anywhere and learn how the players approach the game. I like the pictures of the players when they were kids. The childhood story about Lori Farr stealing the ball from her own team player, who was playing slow, and scoring cracked me up!!! Niffty price- for a lot of entertainment.

Summary: An inside look at true American Girls
Review: This book is fantastic. It gives an inside look at each player to pass through the National team program for an extended period of time. Includes player interviews and a sort of "rap"sheet for each player, like their most embaressing soccer moment, their favorite number, and other interesting facts. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Womens National team. Don't Miss it!!
