Review: I was given this book the week before my first set of finals as a college freshman (quite some time ago). As a break I picked the book up and then spent the rest of my free time trying to perfect my juggling. The book really can teach any able bodied person to juggle. The techniques are clear and concise and the humor is, well, really cony, but it does add to the overall feel of the book. Pictures would have probably been nicer than the drawings that Klutz decided to use, but again the drawings are part of the "feel" of the book. The book takes you a little past basic juggling but not much. It's goal is to quickly teach you how to juggle and it does this very effectively. In my case I learned how to juggle and still passed my finals.

Review: If you want to learn how to juggle, this is the book for you! i got it for my birthday and in 15 minutes i got down the basic "jug." i wasn't very good, i got about 4 or 5 catches but it was just enough to keep me hooked. now i am doing 4 objects and going on 5. i can do clubs now, the guide that they put in there for clubs is great. and they also put some stuff in on basic tricks with three that can lead you to come up with some of your own. the illistrastion are very helpful too. there is even some humor mixed in to keep the book interesting. this book could help anyone with two hands to juggle. it makes it seem so easy. once you start you can't stop.

Summary: If THIS Klutz can juggle, SO CAN YOU!!
Review: Just ask anyone who's ever seen me in gym class! They'd no-doubtly tell you I'm not what you'd call athletic. Or coordinated for THAT matter. Even the gym teachers&coaches take pity on me (I'm actually on the team to be the bench-warming cheerleader!) So, they were all pretty surprised when I came in one day and had the Juggling book at hand. Instead of bothering pretending I had made the winning goal, I read, slowly and carefully the instrunctions. Many words, games, (and bonks on the head) later, there I was. I had achieved the first goal, AT LAST!! (juggling ONE ball!) Well, I kept at it, and pretty soon, I actually got as far as THREE! ME!! I laughed, I cried! I rejoiced! Success at last! As I kept reading, my ambitious nature of the one sport I could actually do GREW!! I even considered going on the road. But, ALAS! My schemes were halted when my gym teacher became astounded! Now, I am the HEAD JUGGLER for the Panther's soccer team!! So, learn from me, and you'll actually see, this book works!! Nobody beilieved I could do this, yet I did!!!!!!! GO ME!! GO ME!!! GO ME!!!!!! So-------what are ya waiting for? TRY IT! NOW I SAY!! IT WORKS!!! GO FOR IT!! LOOK AT ME GO!!! YOU CAN TOO!!

Review: My husband and I bought this book (maybe an earlier revision) nearly 20 years ago and both learned to juggle. Since then, for curiousity's sake, I've compared other juggling books to this, and this would remain my recommendation for learning to juggle. You're taught step-by-step which is better for really learning. The juggling beanbags are a great size and feel, too. Juggling is a fun skill and is good for encouraging persistance, coordination, and concentration in kids (and adults!)
