Summary: For Martial Artist info
Review: Just to say this. I am a Martial arts freak. I tend to be less traditional and more "function" orientated. So when wrestlers proved they could fight and win (UFC,Pride, etc..) I decided the best way to handle myself against them was to learn their techniques. Well, needless to say, most wrestling books have little to do with Wrestling and more to do with talking about wrestling. Getting deeper and deeper and into finding out the way to wrestle I came across this book. I had to order it, but it was well worth the time and money. It has a no BS aproach to showing the actual techniques. This book is a graet reference to those who want to learn. The techniques can easily be blended with boxing and submissions to create a very formatable force...well with that positive note said I would also like to warn you...this is a BOOK not a video and it you have to see the techniques in motion you might want to get the "Win Wrestling" videos. If you can afford it get both, they complament each other so well. On another not for the martial artist if you use a wrestling stance blend it with a boxing stance to get the best results.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: I think that the book ws ok but you need to say when touseit
Review: the book was very good I suggest you go out and buy it. If you really want to leaarn more winning moves. The only bad thing tht i found was that you don't get told when to use the moves in a match.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Most Excellent
Review: The only wrestling book so far that actually documents techniques. Other wrestling books dont go this far into detail when talking about techniques and moves. Choose this book if you cant decide which wrestling book to buy.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is a good book for the serious wrestler
Review: This book briefly reviews hundreds of basic to advanced moves by showing a few picures of each critical step in conjunction with a brief discription. For the most part, it assumes the reader is at an intermediate to advanced level although some basics are reviewed at the beginning of the book. The book is very comprehensive for reviewing takedowns and takedown counters and less so for riding and bottom moves. A few basic freestyle moves are also covered. I gave the book 5 stars due to the fact that its the most comprehensive wrestling book I've been able to find and the book I most refer to when encouraging my 8 year old son to add more moves to his portfolio.

Summary: Great Book
Review: This book is a great find if you need to learn wrestling moves. It has begginer stuff all the way to advanced. Some moves are hard to figure out but overall it is a good find and will help ANY WRESTLER

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: An excellent reference for wrestling moves.
Review: This book is an invaluable aid to coaches and wrestlers alike. The moves are easy to follow, allowing wrestlers to pick out and practice new ones. Most moves are shown with a number of variations; coaches can emphasize one or as many as desired. All in all, a great reference with good detail covering a wide variety of moves. One of the best I've seen yet!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: excellent reference for the seasoned veteran and the rookie
Review: This book is the best I have seen for it's variety of most all wrestling moves that you will see. The book was written by men who truly know the sport of wrestling. I highly recommend Winning Wrestling Moves to all wrestlers.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I wrestle and this book is good
Review: This book is very good but i found some errors and there was not enough desecption in the book. But it is very good I won 8 matches using this book. This book shows more moves than your coach can teach you in a season, this will give you an edge of some wrestles being more advanced. But I did some moves that got me in trouble.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: great
Review: This book taught me how to go undefeated my freshmen year in high school at Roswell, GA

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Best so far.
Review: This is an excellent tool for wrestlers and coaches. The focus is to teach wrestling moves that will fine tune or add to your current wrestling skill level. It is an excellent book for both beginner and experienced wrestlers. It is probably the best book for pure skill improvement in the market. That may not be saying much, as there are not a flood of wrestling skill books out there. In future editions the writers could add pictures from other angles with corresponding descriptions. As it is, you can "get there from here" with this book and some patience. This book does not spend time covering motivation or historical topics which for many should be considered a plus. I would reccomend supplimenting this book with video tapes, like the Ken Chertow series or other olympic/college champion video tapes covering wrestling skills.
