Rating: Summary: A book any beginner boxer can get excited about Review: MUST MUST read instruction for beginners... I recommend it to all amateurs in my trainer course!
Rating: Summary: Very light beginner book Review: Nice book, small, good pictures but there just was not enough material. There are some asides about technique and strategy but really basic stuff. I was not impressed with the author knowledge of the subject. If you are a beginner - you will like the book for a week, when you know the basics, you will never read it again, because it dosent have enough info for reference.
Rating: Summary: Very, very basic boxing Review: Not enough substance, but the extreme basics are covered.
Rating: Summary: Very Good Beginning Review: This book is just what it says it is - a beginners guide to boxing. I would not say a "complete" guide but the book has all you need to know about technique, equipment, exercise, and the subtle aspects of boxing. Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: More than Complete! Review: This book is more than "complete," it's by far the very best book on boxing! Whether you are a beginner or need to brush up on your advanced skills, this is the book to read. Bravo, bravo, bravo!
Rating: Summary: the best instructional boxing book Review: this is the best book on boxing i have ever read. scott has an intuitive understanding of the sport and is able to articulate her knowledge in a way that is easy to grasp and clear. i highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in sharpening their skills.
Rating: Summary: Boxing the Complete Guide to Training and Fitness Review: You can't learn boxing from a book, but this would be our favorite. It is easy to understand and allows flexibility. If you just know the basics of boxing, this book is good reference.
