Rating: Summary: I am impressed with this book!! Review: I have not personally read the book, but I have seen it. I am impressed with the vivaciousness of Mr. Wilson and his wife to finish this book. I love the photos and the pictures. It is indepth and I find just the photographs and illustrations interesting. Mr. Wilson is my high school American History teacher, and I am very proud of him and this book. By the way, Mr. Wilson... do I get extra credit for this? Just kidding... :-)
Rating: Summary: Terry Wilson is a great author! Review: I haven't actually read the book, but I know many who have and say it is a wonderful outlook on the subject of fly fishing. The author also happens to be my High School history teacher, and is a wonderful and informitive man. Do yourself a favor if you are a bluegill fisherman...buy the book..and thank me later! --yes, you're welcome, Mr.Wilson
Rating: Summary: Haven't read it. Review: Mr. Wilson is my history teacher and I haven't really read the book; but I don't have to. I think this book is really informative, and the pictures are pretty cool looking. You did an awesome job, Mr. Wilson. Keep it up.
Rating: Summary: Informative and entertaining Review: This book was found to be both informative and entertaining. The many techniques explainined help even the experienced bluegill fishermen catch more fish. The plates showing different bluegill fly patterns are all beautifully presented. The autors are great story tellers too.
Rating: Summary: A great addition to the fly fishing library. Review: This is an excellent book on blueguill fly fishing. There was only one bit of bad information in the whole book. The author makes the assertion that graphite rods are a far superior fly rod. This is a useless statement as it is presented. The bamboo rod could just as easily have this claim made for it by someone who is partial to that type of rod. This type of a statement is a sore spot for me, especially when no supporting data is provided. Overall the book covers all situations and presents some classic and new bluegill fly patterns.
