Rating: Summary: A Masterpiece! Review: Simply the best! Bozanic's book is a must for every rebreather student and instructor; no other rebreather text compares. It covers everything from "a to z" on virtually every type of commercial rebreather. In fact, it just about teaches itself with chapter objectives, bolded key points, tons of full-color illustrations and photos, multiple choice questions (and answers), several different check lists, constant PO2 tables, OCEANx Calculator, Material Data Safety Sheets, glossary, and so much more. Put is this way, if it has to do with rebreathers--it's included. But comprehensive doesn't mean esoteric. This masterpiece is written in clear, concise language anyone can understand and everyone will enjoy!

Rating: Summary: Well Written--Well Organized Review: This is a comprehensive, well written book. Whether considering rebreathers for the first time, moderately acquainted with them or striving to "master" them, this work should be on your shelf. I have minimal association with rebreathers but have long been intrigued by both their advantages and limitations. After reading much of this book (skimming some sections really designed for present users of these systems) I have come away with a much greater understanding of this approach to diving--and really, it is that--a whole different strategy for dealing with the need to breathe in underwater environments. Mr. Bozanic has done us all a service, I think this book is going to see a lot of use as a text.
