Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Excellent resource
Review: This book is one of the few I've seen that actually lays out all the exercises for you with clear pictures. Gives you several alternatives for each muscle group, then lets you design your own workout. A great long-term purchase.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The most complete abdominal reference yet.
Review: This book not only shows you how to do the exercises, it explains how and why for all of them. You will understand how the muscles work, what they do, and how to improve them. I reccomend this book highly to anyone who wants to look and feel better.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very Good and Extensive
Review: This book was very good for many reasons. Mainly, it showed many exercises and showed each exercise in different stages. Many of the photos were of realistic bodybuilders with well developed abdominal regions. It touched on diet, weight, reps, sets and had a positive tone throughout. Although not quite a 5 star rating this book is very good.

Summary: Greatest Book of Ab Exercises Ever!!
Review: This is an excellent book/manual for ANYONE wanting to get that ripped "Six Pack" look. All the exercises are organized according to which ab muscles you are targeting and the difficulty level of each exercise is also listed. For those of you tired of doing the same old boring crunch sit-up, I highly recommend this book. It contains a variety of ab exercises (many of which are new to me) so you won't get bored with the same old routine. There are also workout routines listed if you are just beginning or if you are more advanced. This is a very detailed guide for ab work and if you are serious about getting a flat tummy, then this is the book for you!!

Summary: Must Have For Tight Abs!
Review: This is the most complete books of abs that I have ever read and used. A copy of it is at the gym where I work out and it is wonderful. There are many exercises, and it tells you what you are working sa well as the level of difficulty. I lost an inch and a half in one month, doing the exercises in this book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: better than ever!
Review: This second edition is better than ever with updated and expanded sections. The fitness section now even includes photos on some of the other exercises you should be doing to improve other areas of the body. The entire book has been improved upon and would encourage anyone with lower back problems or anyone wanting to focus more on their abdominal area to buy this book. It has a lot of good, sound advice in it from physiology to nutrition. Definitely worth the money!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Thorough, illustations less than tastefull
Review: Thorough text on abdominal exercises, however, the illustrations border on soft-porn.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent book
Review: Very detailled book on abs. Have the advantage of telling which exercises are dangerous. Detailled tips on how to do the exercises. Step by step programm that goes from 3 exercises for beginers to 300 situps a day using an incredible variety of exercises. Bonus: A section on wellness at the begining (nutrition,etc...). This book is hugue and worth it's worth in gold

Summary: Perfect!
Review: What can i say...i had been stuck in the realm of hundreds of crunches per day with no results....this book did it....im still working hard...and the results show. Im no workout fiend either...but after this book and the difference to the abs...i began also eating right and working other body parts. Thanks Kurt!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Absolute success!
Review: Yes, this book should be yours; as people recommending it already pointed out, the book is full of very useful excercises. I have not even read the suggested plans for exercises, just included the exercises in my normal training schedual, and guess what - the belly is shaped now in my fourties much, much better then when I was 20 (the people recommending the book was also right about that). But notice one very important thing: pay attention on diet - the book will also teach you about it. Principles exposed in the book are 100% ok and proven. Go for it!
