Review: IN MEMORY OF MARIO PONTILLO
Since the late 1970's, I have studied Mr. Lee's "Way of the Intercepting fist." I have the 1st editions of all the "best" books.
This book will walk you through the physical aspect of his methods. I recommend you get all the volumes from this series. You will need to start from the beginning; and you do that by emptying your cup so Bruce may fill it.

My favorite quote: "Knowing is not enough, you must apply; willing is not enough, you must do." -Bruce Lee

Please do not hesitate to check out my Poetry book that I published while in the U.S. Navy in 2003; "Under the Rose: Poetry of Tragedy, Essence, and Romance"

Review: Just the few pages on shuffling is well worth it! Very useful, helpful, and readable! I deeply regret not buying this book sooner.

Summary: it was awesome, man!
Review: Like, I can't say enough good stuff about this book! It has virtually changed my life! I got some great tips on how to fight like a real man, even though I'm a woman! Even when the odds are against you, there is always one more move waiting just around the corner. Bruce's story gave me hope, inspiration, courage. I, too, can be strong and fight my way through any situation. Let them try to stop me...I am WOMAN and I am armed!

Summary: The Fighting Method Series Captures Bruce Lee
Review: Mito Uyehara was the founder and publisher of Black Belt magazine. Mito actually took privates from Bruce in his office according to staff legend. Mito also gave Bruce plenty of exposure in Black Belt, but the books in this series, Bruce Lee's Fighting Methods, are the true legacy of that relationship. Mito was very protective of Bruce's image and his admiration for him is as clear as the many photographs in these books.

Of course, Bruce Lee was always changing his methods and ideas about training. To what degree he would have stood behind this material some 40-years later has been the subject of much debate. The closest thing to a modern version of this series is How to Master Bruce Lee's Fighting Style by Lee student Joe Lewis, who credits much of his success to principles he learned while working with Bruce Lee.

But, "never take your eyes off the finger, or you will miss a great book for any Bruce Lee fan."

Summary: Get It , Study It , Learn to think like HE thinks in It.
Review: Probably the most important instructional martial arts book writen in the last 200 years anywhere on earth.

Super-simple , effective techniqes , the first ( I believe ) to really understand or if not adleast take into consideration proper body-mechanics.

If you're lucky enough to read this book and the other "fighting method"s in your first couple of years of training it will effect you deeply. If you'll read it after having a fixed posture AND mind , It will probably still have some influence on your attitude towards fighting-efficiency.

Anyway , get this book and the others. They are much , much more than nice books with a couple of training-tips , they'l change you as a martial-artist. For the better.

Summary: I wanted more substance
Review: There's really not a lot here. We learn a thing or two about Bruce Lee's fighting stance and workout methods, but I had higher hopes for this book. He writes about his vertical fist punch, delivered like a fencer. But this thin book left me pretty unsatisfied.

Summary: THIS BOOK SHOULD BE EVERY MARTIAL ARTIST'S NEW BIBLE!
Review: This book goes over every aspect of fighting you can imagine! There is information on footwork, power, speed, proper stance, etc. There is also a lot of important stuff on non-telagraphing, too.

Bottom line is you need to

GET THIS BOOK RIGHT NOW!
