Summary: wonderful book, simple to understand, very recommanded!
Review: although the equipments of today are much more technically improved, this training book is still my favorite. he explains there the foundamental of jeet kune do stance, basic kicks and the basic bag training, how to develop speed and power in your kicks that i must say are explained (together with the stamina, endurance and the fighting fire spirit of training)(that is bruce- lee)in a very enlightning way. i trained in jeet kune do\boxing,ju- jitsu, and thai- boxing for many years before i became a orthomolecular-nutritionist. don't pay attention to the fact that the equipments represent in the book (from 1966) is old or not modern or so,because that kind of equipments and methods made bruce lee what he was.a very scientific practical basic training book. highly recommanded!

Summary: More Original Bruce
Review: Another publication from the early 70's for those of you who must have Bruce Lee stuff. It is older training techniques some of which are still effective today and some of which have been proven ineffective. Not for those of you looking for the most accurate and correct cross training techniques to supplement you martial arts.

Summary: WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

Summary: Great workouts for a great price even for the non expert
Review: Bruce Lee wasa the greatest marital artist that ever existed. So it was fitting to read about his trainging process along with great illustrations of his training process and step by step follow instructions. I am a track and field athlete and this book made my abs go from 2 pack to six pack. It is a definite go getter for the person who needs to work out like a champ.

Summary: Excellent Book that teaches the basics
Review: Even though this book was not written by Bruce (PUblished after he died based on his memoirs), and is in the midst of controvorsy (ie. people say Bruce would not have published this, etc), I found this book to be bang on. An excellent book on the basics of punching, kicking, and moving.

I study JKD under a teacher, and the book helped explain alot of the details of basic hitting and movement that I wasn't able to learn on my own. After this book I went from a basic fighter to one who moved and counter attacked as required.

For [the money], you won't find a better martial arts book anywhere.

Summary: Excellent Book!
Review: Excellent book to show the basics and mechanics of Bruce Lee's fighting style (Jeet Kune Do). Currently taking JKD myself, this book has helped me tremendously in learning the "details" of such basic things like the basic JKD stance, jab, cross, uppercut, side-step, etc. as well as training. I feel it's an excellent book if you wish to learn more about Lee's fighting style. Other books I'd recommend based on his fighting style would be the rest of this series, as well as "The Bruce Lee Library" series by John Little. The "Tao Of Jeet Kune Do" is also an excellent book that includes his own personal notes and thoughts about his fighting art.

Summary: This book helped me a lot
Review: I bought this book about two months ago and I really liked it. I always wondered how Lee trained to get as fit as he was. I wanted to have the power and agility that he had. This book outlines all that you need to know for stretches and excercises as well as the good stuff. It shows you some of the basic positions you want to keep and how you should react to a punch or some attack. I take martial arts and have been for about a year and a half. I enjoy it very much and this book also helped me to keep my martial arts lifestyle, not just in the classroom, but at home and wherever.
