Rating: Summary: From A Woman's Point of View Review: This book is not for the fain hearted , it isn;t for poeple who hold demanding physical jobs, skip workouts or people who don;t like pushing their bodys to the limit. This book is HOWEVER for poeple who have a genuine desire and passion for hard work and have a sincere love for their training. be prepared the programs will shock you, and you will immediatly think its a crazy man's logic , but bare with it and try the programs out, you will see amazing gains. This book is a must for guys who want powerful thighs.people who have not had success with this program most likely had below par diets ,, performed the excersises in poor form, didn;t push themselves hard enough thru the phases when it stated too , or most likely a combination of all these things. Speaking from personal experience . If u r someone who has a genuine passion for hard work and is disciplined in both diet and training, give it a go.

Rating: Summary: NOT WORTH A CENT Review: This book is NOT WORTH A CENT. If I could I would rate it with zero stars. Probably people who gave this book 5 stars were paid to do so (no offence). I read it twice and spent one year training after it. All I got was waisted time and injury. It is horribly incomplete: there are only programs with sets and reps for every routine. The whole book was probably written in one afternoon (terrible language, lack of crucial info.) The book is very expensive; it has 171 pages (but half of it are programs and the other half is how the muscles work). If you want the best book on weight training buy BEYOND BRAWN (over 500 pages of laconic language)for half the price from BBB. Big Beyond Belief is a big deception famous only because of a good comercial.
Rating: Summary: The Best I Have Found Review: This book is the best that I have found on the subject of getting big and strong. I was in the Army as an infantry soldier and after just a couple of months doing one of the "ramps" I gained approx 15 pounds even with the requisite Army aerobic workout every morning. I was huge -- people in the gym and in my Company accused me of taking steroids I was getting so big so fast. I had previously done several other college football weightlifting workouts with little success -- this is certainly the best -- and it covers a bunch of other related stuff, too. Lastly, workouts only last 45 minutes -- the book explains why -- I haven't lifted in a few years and have since lost this book to a friend, but I have no problems shelling out 49 bucks for this. It's definitely worth at least that. I know that in a few months, I will be a monster again. I don't typically write reviews for books but this one is so good, I had to.
Rating: Summary: Great muscle-building book Review: This is a good book for building muscle. I have an older version of it. It's focus is on lifting for bodybuilding. It is not for "toning" or "fitness". It doesn't have fancy pictures. It tells how bodybuilding training is different from powerlifting and aerobic training. It offers routines that change the number of reps, sets, rest time, and exercise order. I was stuck with making little progress even after a few years of lifting but I made some real gains with this book. It is not for beginners. It will give you a key on how to choose the best exercises but it won't specifically say which ones to do. It won't show you how to do them either. These routines are hard. They will be asking a lot and will wear you out. If you aren't in decent weightlifting shape and/or you aren't familiar with weightlifting, you won't be ready for this book. If you are, then these will not be problems for you. That is why I give it five stars. You must follow the routines to the letter. The book stresses this. DO NOT SKIP ANY DAYS. An occasional day won't hurt you but whenever I got into the habit of skipping days (like one a week for a few weeks) my progress halted. Don't try to alter or customize the routines either. You also have to make sure you eat enough, but that's always crucial for building muscle. If you want to pack on some real size, get this book. I gained 20 LBS in 20 weeks and got stretch marks all around my arm pits. I didn't take any drugs either. The stretch marks will eventually fade and aren't noticeable unless you really look for them. Eventually, the progress will slow and one day you may need to move to another routine, but for a good while it should really work for you. Just do exactly what it says and get the right kind and right amount of calories. Some might say that this all sounds like the ordinary basics for any lifting program, but I've been lifting for ten years and swear by this book. They have specific reasons for making the routines the way they do. There's nothing special or very different about them. I don't have the room to explain it here. I just know that they worked for me. Nothing has come close to the progress I have gotten from it. This book is only for those hard-core lifters who want to really put on muscle.
Rating: Summary: QUICK TRIP TO OVERTRAINING!!! Review: UNLESS YOURE ON STERIODS THIS WILL NOT WORK!!! Come on this guy wants you to believe that your body with recover from a workout in just a few hours? He advocates working out sometimes twice a day 6 days a week? How will your body ever grow if you are spending so much time in the gym? You body WILL NEVER recover from a workout like this unless you are on ROIDS period! If you muscles could fully recover from a workout in 3 hours, then wouldnt you be stronger just 3 hours after you left the gym? If that were true, then you could lift about 6 times per day and wake up the next morning bench pressing 100 lbs more than you did the day before. Come on get real. This book should be called "BIG BEYOND BELIEF IF YOU TAKE STERIODS LIKE ME" No natural bodybuilder will ever make progress on this program so dont waste your time.
