Rating: Summary: Didn't Stretch My Knowledge or Golf Swing Review: More like a basic book on stretching, didn't seem that targeted to golf. What about all the new stretching devices and techniques I hear about at my club? No mention here, just some basic stuff. From my limited experience, stretching is good for golf, but not the only thing, and this isn't the cliff notes of stretching for golfers.
Rating: Summary: See ya back pain, hello fair-way! Review: My Grandfather was a pro and took me golfing with him when I was a young boy. As I got older, I discovered the wonderful world of bodybuilding. Although it has provided me with wonderful health and aesthetic benefits, it also caused muscle tightness and joint pains. Where I use to have a very easy time rotating my torso during the cocking action of the club, I soon began to see an extremely limited range of motion in my back, shoulder and various leg muscles. I desperately needed to stretch the sport specific muscles of my body, in order to play a good game and feel loose enough to relax while playing. This is the beauty of Mr. Paul Frediani's book, Golf Flex! When I first saw the book, I was very intrigued simply by the design and qulity of the book. I was weary though, as they say, Don't judge a book by its cover. This also applies in a negative fashion. I was shocked when I began reading! It not only provided much more than the cover promised, but also gave me a sure-fire plan to wipe my competition out! I soon began to follow Paul's stretching and conditioning program and immedietely noticed unbeleivable results. Not only did my game begin to improve by leaps and bounds, but I felt AMAZING! I am grateful for the book and highly recommend it to anyone who is remotely interested in bettering their body and decreasing their score. NO MORE HANDICAP HERE BABY!
Rating: Summary: Golf-Flex Review: This book is an excellent tool for those golfers that want to improve their game and not spend a lot of time on other various forms of strenuous exercise. I have found that this program helps me in my golf game as well as everyday life. I feel stronger and much more fluid in my game. I also find that I am "warm" at the beginning of my game, not after three or four holes. I would recommend this book for anybody that wants improve not only their golf game but also their life in general.
Rating: Summary: "No pain, all gain" Review: This book should be as much a part of everyones golf bag as the clubs themselves. As an Orthopaedic Technician working in sports medicine for the past 25 years, I've seen a lot of injuries that could have been prevented by a brief but thorough stretching routine. Mr. Frediani has given the golfer just such a routine. I found Golf Flex to be concise, easy to read with excellent illustrations. Golf Flex leaves nothing to question and it's all in a book sized to fit perfectly in your bag, locker or hip pocket.
Rating: Summary: Lacks a routine Review: Though this book does contain a comprehensive list of stretches, it lacks a solid routine for their use. The author states that you can improve your game in 10 minutes a day, but it would take quite a bit longer than that to complete the 30+ exercises. The only routine offered does not incorporate the exercises into a daily routine.

Rating: Summary: This Could Be Your Stretching Book Too! Review: Tried several other golf exercise books, but found it involved and cumbersome timewise. However, this is focused squarely on giving flexibility for golf, only ten minutes daily and it does reduce lower back pain and stiffness and increases driver length. I am proud recommender and user of this. Possibly it too is just what you're looking for.
Rating: Summary: It Works! Review: Well unless you've been living in a cave in Borneo, you know the importance of stretching, not only golf but for better everyday living. The author writes an easy to follow precription on how to best prepare for pre-game warm-up. As a former athlete I had no problem following the Golf Flex routine. But my wife(a new golfer and not an athlete)had difficulty understanding the difference between static and dynamic stretching, how and why they apply to sports performance. Teaching your wife golf is a little like teaching someone you love to drive- its best left to professionals. So I bought the Golf Flex video to give her. It was much more through, and seeing someone do the stretches, showed her exactly what she needed to do. So if your new to stretching, I highly recomend the Golf Flex video. If you have a basic understanding of flexibility, then the book is all you'll need. Well done!

Thanks for a great, easy to read and follow manual.
