I did some research online, and was amazed at just the little bit I could gather about this truly talented man. I bought the book and I was hooked immediately! The only reason I didn't finish it the first day, was due to time constraints. I'm not a big fan of biographies. They tend to be dry reading. Not this! It flowed like a novel! Congratulations on another success, Mr. Chan, and thank you for sharing your very interesting life. Hopefully young readers will get the chance to read this and learn from you. You are an insperation to both young and us older ones (although not that old!). Thank you, again.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Perfect interpretation Review: Though the beginning was a little sketchy, the overall feeling that I got from reading this book was overwhelming. Jackie Chan, one of the greatest martial artists and stuntsmen of all time has almost perfectly been captured through this book, I think it deserves a five star because after all that Jackie's been through, he deserves nothing less.

I read 147 pages without even stopping to stretch or eat. It'll be worth the investment you make for the book. A good book for your library.

The book was fast paced, and packed full of interesting tid-bits. I learned so much I never knew about Jackie (and Samo! What a bully!). It was incredibly interesting to read about the events that shaped him into the amazing action star he is now. If you are a Jackie fan you MUST read this book. Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: YOU are Jackie Chan Review: I didn't know what expect when I started to read this book. I've read several biographies and although I pick interesting people to read about, none come close to Jackie Chan. His life from early childhood to manhood has been a difficult ride.If you've ever seen any of his movies and find them filled with action, drama, and comedy, this book is no different. It's like you're reading the script of a movie. He paints vivid pictures in your head as he describes his life, his loves, his career. I have developed a better appreciation for Jackie Chan after reading this book. It is so inspirational that anyone can read this book, fan and non-fan alike and enjoy the man known as Jackie Chan. I encouraged all my friends to buy this book and add it to their library, its definately a must have.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: FASCINATING AND INSPIRING Review: What a great book! Before reading this book, I didn't know much about Jackie Chan except that he made clean, fun, entertaining movies. I admire the fact that he is just about the only successful Asian movie star in American films, and bought this book to see how he broke through. And what a story it is! This is one of those books that you will remember and draw upon forever. Mr. Chan illustrates how far hard work and determination can take you. My 10 year old son was amazed when I told him about Jackie's childhood. It's nice to have a positive, clean role model for our kids to look up to!

Review: When my kids complain that their life is rough, I hand them this book and tell them to read the first few chapters - again! It was an honest look at himself and his life with great insight. It inspires and entertains. Jackie Chan is truly a person to be admired. I can't help but like him!
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: The R-E-A-L Last Action Hero... and Genuine Gentleman. Review: No disrespect to the other Hollywood action heroes (I spend hard-earned bucks on them too), but Jackie's Da Man. No blue-screens, computer graphics, and stunt-doubles; his gutsy on-screen persona takes us to a higher level of cinematic entertainment -- he amazes me every time those theatre lights dim. The book is a fascinating glimpse behind the mortal who dares to wow his fans with every subsequent adventure. I recently spent four hours in line for his autograph at a book signing; he is a true gentleman thankful for his fans. The book is a brisk, captivating read. I appreciate the extensive filmography at the end also.
