Rating: Summary: Good effort, but.... Review: this book leaves a lot to be desired. Some captivating stories, but it left me wanting to know more. It read more like the transcript to a documentary than a narrative. Otherwise, I'd recommend. Excellent (first?) effort by Millman. I'd be interested to see how he matures as a writer.

Rating: Summary: A great read for the sports enthusiast Review: This book was a great read for anyone who has ever placed a sports wager in Vegas or at home. The ebb and flow of victorious weekens and buried ones is incredible. It also adds an extra viewpoint by following the guys who run the Stardust. Excellent, quick read.
Rating: Summary: For those interested in Vegas sports gambling Review: This is really a nice read. Its definitely gives you some excellent incites into the darker side of gambling. Readers who have been to Vegas sports books will certainly enjoy this book more than the average reader.

Rating: Summary: Incredible! A Must Read! Review: Wow. I just put down the book after reading it in one sitting. I feel like a just got off the wildest ride. It was a ride across a foreign landscape, the dry and depraved desert floor of sports gambling, Vegas. I met many characters, all unsavory yet appealing in their own way. I felt a little like I was reading a Hiassen book. Fulfilled with the satisfaction of having traveled into a landscape that is not mine, and yet being able to close the book and return to my life. Thank Goodness. A truly riveting read.
