Review: The Rock says book is the best autobiography I have ever read. It talks about his childhood, adulthood, his experiences with wrestling and his family. He kept it real to the bone from wrestling, his relationships with women and his relationship with his family. His book reminds me of myself when I was young. It make me realize that the Rock's book had lots of similarities as in my life. I can relate to the Rock's book. Keep doing your thing Rock. You are the man. If all your wannabes shut your mouth for a second, everybody is cheering the Rock's name! Rocky, Rocky, Rocky!

Summary: The Rock should have broke out of characther
Review: The Book was excellent but the most electrify man in sports entertainment didn't write it, unlike Mankind who wrote his every page, but like I said if the Rock would have broke out of characther like Mankind did it would have added a different perpestive of the book to give you a feel of what the Rock is really like. But i would say buy it but defintely check out Mankinds book it gets a 5 star rating from me

Summary: The Rock Says...Don't waste your money
Review: IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT I THINK...I'm a Rocky fan, but I'm now convinced the Great One's electricity only pertains to the ring...Reading the book, I expected a more humerous take off of Mankind's autobiography, but man was I suprised...The book was a major letdown, since it reminds me of a themeless spin off of I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings...Rocky ain't a pulitzer award striver, he's a wrestler, so I expected some more in depth detail about his whole 2 years on top of the federation...TWO MAJOR REASONS WHY THE BOOK FLOPPED... a) Its too short - WHY? The Rock debuted in 95...He's been on top for the last two, maybe three years and that doesn't even come close enough to be able to write abotu his career... b) ITS NOT IN HIS WORDS...I'm sure Rocky has such an expansive vocabulary...either the guy is a bombastic, thesarus addicted author, or the "co-author" wrote the entire story...Who pays 20 odd dollars to hear how an author interprets the Great One's story...I sure as hell didn't, and wanted to hear The Rock's personal feelings with his past...Whatever, If YA SMELLLL WHAT THE ROCK...IS COOKIN'?

Review: THE ROCK SAYS... is one of the better books I have read in a long time. This is the book if you want to learn about the ups and downs of the wrestling business and how The Rock came to be apart of it. The best part of the book was when he wrote about Owen Hart. I was never really a fan of his, but what was wriiten about him was thoughtfull and touching. Praise be to The Rock and everyone else who helped in this book.

Review: I decided to buy the Rock's book to see for myself what it was about. This book is magnificent. I'm reading all of these bad reviews saying that his book is not good as Mankind's book. Please don't compare these books, if you don't like it that's okay. But don't say you don't like it because it was not like mankind book. This book is about his life not anybody elses. I'm glad that he decides to share so many personal things about his life with the public. Dwayne, keep up the Good Work! "Sheronda"

Summary: Very personal and honest look at Dwayne Johnson's life
Review: If you like the Rock you'll absolutely love this book. He goes into great detail about his life even before the WWF and his struggles with normal, everyday life after hitting it big. It is also a touching story about how he met his wife and the hardships they overcame together. This is truly a great book, even if you're not a wrestling fan I encourage you to read it.

Summary: the people's champ
Review: This book offers an indepth look at the early days of the wrestling superstar, the Rock. The book is a nice combination of in the ring stories and outside the ring stories. The book flows at a decent level, but I would like to have read more about experiences with other wrestlers, and how the rock views other wrestlers. Overall, this book is worth reading if you are a true fan of the rock like myself!

Summary: The Most Electrifying Book Ever Written!
Review: This is one of the millions...and millions, soon to be billions and billions of Rock's fans. As a follower of wrestling I find it very refreshing to hear the other side of the arrogant wrestler you see on the TV screen, or see them live as I have. I am aggravated and angry that there are some people who criticize this book just because they hate the GR81. The reason this book was written to show people the blood, sweat, and tears that Dwayne Johnson has given over the years to get to where he is today. I can say myself that now that I have read the book, I am now as much a fan of Dwayne Johnson than I am of "The Rock". I, unlike the people that gave bad reviews about the book, am able to separate the man from the persona that he plays on TV. So all of you out there that don't like the book (or what I am saying) can take the book, shine it up real nice, turn it sideways, and you know the rest! If you smelllllll, what HTown's GR81, is cookin'!
