Summary: Rock Says
Review: The Rock "wrote" not only an excellent survey of the changes in professional wrestling in the last 30 years but a very realistic heartfelt memoir of his own life. It is a powerful look at what it personally takes to excel in the world of college and professional sports. His story is also one of overcoming the biases against bi-racial and ethnically mixed heritages. I would suggest this book not only to wrestling fans but to teens (males and females) as an inspiring look of how to succeed no matter what the odds maybe.

Summary: Good Not Great
Review: This book is pretty good. It is not as in-depth as Mankind's book, but it is worth the price of the book. If you are not a pro wrestling fan, you won't understand a word in this book, but if you are a pro-wrestling fan, this is a must buy situation.

I loved the book and the millions of fans proved their point about their reviews . But I am proving mine now , The Rock's book 'The Rock Says ',as I thought , was just fantastic ! Every Rock fan should read it !

Summary: The most electrifying book on a sports entertainer!
Review: This is a book that all wrestling fans should get their hands on. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because some of the book is in his Rock character. But writing in his character was also very entertaining! I have not read Mick Foley's book but will now because of the great job The Rock did on this book. Johnson is very different than his Rock character in many aspects.

Summary: Educated Book for Learning of Language and Entertainment
Review: Hello and I am pleased to be a newly speaker of Ënglish. My talents were sharpened on the hone of Mr. Rock fine book. However they are written for ther sport enthusiastic, but, yes, they are also being excellent tools of the English teaching. Not only can one student ascertain the basic rules grammar from the reading of the book, but is also at the same time amused and entertained by 'Most Electrocuting man in Sports Hygiene.' However they are he is also funny. With what learned new forms of speech, 'If yasmellya,' and now also refer to mother as 'jaboroni'. They brought forth gales of chuckles of my part, so hard that my hands began to feel as if they were wood! As for the delighfully books, please keep them come Mr. Rock! Also recommending 'Tale of Blood and Sweatshorts!' Big fan of Nation of Dominatrix, also.

Summary: Very good book, I enjoyed alot
Review: I thought the book was very well written and I learned alot about the Rock and his family life I didn't know before. Also the book talks alot about the wresteling matches he has been in and his views and opinions on those matches. He tells alot about how things are beind the scences. I liked the book as a whole and the reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because he could have waited a little bit more into his career so he would have had an even better book with more things to talk about. Well thank you for listening to my opinion. Way to go Rocky!

Summary: Excellent book, for all, not just wrestling fans...
Review: This is an excellent book. And I am not just saying that because I am a big fan of The Rock, which I am, or because I enjoy wrestling, which I do, but because this is a fascinating story of how a young man dug himself out of a ditch and is now at the top of the heap. Also it gives great behind-the-scenes info about wrestling, as well as throwing the personality of The Rock in there as well. You will love this book and not be able to put it down, IF YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING!

Summary: This is a great book
Review: Despite the hostility from some of the reviewers (which from reading the reviews, I don't think many of the negative reviewers even read the book considering many of them were posted well before the book was released) this is an excellent book. Mr. Johnson has taken a great deal of flak for not being the writer of this book. Some people shouldn't write their own story as their writing skills may not be on par with those of a professional writer. The most important part is the story, which does come from "The Rock". He has led a very interesting life and this book is a must read for all of his fans. I will say, this book is not quite as interesting or as well writting as Mankind's "Have A Nice Day" (hence the 4 star rating) but it is still worth a read.
