Rating: Summary: It Doesn't Matter What You Think Review: KNOW YOUR DAMN ROLE-buy this book DON'T BE A JABRONI-buy this book EAT YOUR BEEF A RONI-while reading this book
Rating: Summary: The greatest book I've ever read. 2 thumbs up to The Rock. Review: Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) has always perservered over any obstacle that has ever crossed his path. He's a man's man. I look up to The Rock and truly respect him more now than when he first entered the sports-entertainment industry. I truly am the biggest Rock fan along with his millions...and millions of other fans. A must buy for any Rock fan. If you smell what The Rock is cookin'!
Rating: Summary: Don't judge the book by its author! Review: Thoroughly entertaining and funny! If your a WWF fanatic you'll understand why! Its really interesting to see his perspective of his career and also to get the inside look of this "electrifying entertainer"! Im also a samoan and only wished he could of elaborated more on our beautiful culture and heritage. Proud of our samoan boys in this industry! And if some of you are offended by his catchy phrases; then this book is not for you. As the man himself says, "know your role" and if you don't like what the rock is cookin' then get out of the kitchen, "cause it doesn't matter what you think! The book is excellent, the whole outline is excellent, and hey Rockys' an excellent entertainer and author! Anticipating his next move, a movie probably? And if your wondering what the Rock is cooking, its samoan taro and pilikaki. Soifua.
Rating: Summary: THE ROCK SAYS........ Review: Okay, I think this book was so fantastic. The Rock is truely a legend in the making. I really liked his honesty about the business. If you like the Rock or you don't read the book. The story of his life will make you a fan!
Rating: Summary: Finally...The Rock has written hiiiiiiis...Book Review: This was a great book. It is only about the 2nd or 3rd book I have ever read from front to back without missing a word. That's pretty incredible considering I'm a college student. I never read anything so thoroughly in my life before. Like everytime I put the book down, it seems to be calling me back for more. At times, I didn't want to finish it because I wouldn't have any left. In my opinion, this was a wonderful book for anyone who is interested in The Rock. It doesn't tell you much about the life of a professional wrestler, but it gives details about The Rock's life. Although at times he seems to just be bragging about himself. But of course you're going to say good things about yourself. It's your own book damnmit. Anyways, the only part which I didn't really like too much was when he talked acting as The Rock, and not Dwayne Johnson.
Rating: Summary: It Does Not Matter Review: IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT MY REVIEW SAYS!
Rating: Summary: The Rock Says Review: This is one of the best books I ever read behind Mankind's because The Rock mostly sounded like the Rock and not Dwayne Johnson and Mankind told if from Mick Foley's veiw that is the only flaw in this book
Rating: Summary: The Rock Review: Now, I havent read the book but I HATE THE ROCK. If you have something wrong with that e-mail me. Undertaker2022@hotmail.com
Rating: Summary: Entertaining book. Review: This book written by Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) and Joe Layden has gotten some bad reviews. He did use a ghostwriter for his book but that is forgivable. While this book is not as in-depth as Mick Foley's book, it gives the reader an accurate idea of what "The Rock's" life has been like and what he is like in real life. Personally, if I were having my own biography written, I would wait until I am older than 28, but the book does have quite a bit of information on Johnson's younger days and his childhood. Not the best biography, but definetly a great one. Also recommended is Mick Foley's Autobiography, "Have a Nice Day!"
Rating: Summary: If You Smell What the Rock is Cookin' Review: I bought this book because I'm a huge Rock fan, and I must tell you it was one hell of an auto-biography. This book shows Dwayne Johnson a.k.a The Rock in a whole new light. The Rock talks about everything, from his family growing up, to his wife Dany, to the struggles he went threw to make it in the WWF. An absolute must have for any Rock fan!
