Rating: Summary: A great book, by The Great One himself Review: This book was just amazing. I couldn't put it down! I've always been a huge Rock fan since the very begining, and this is definatly something else that was done by The Rock to once again prove he is truly a great man.
Rating: Summary: An outstanding book Review: "The Rock Says" has to be one the best books written. Even though I am not a huge wrestling fan, I found I could not put this book down. I am currently readying "Have a nice day (Mick Foley) and am finding it lengthy and hard to stay interested in. I would suggets the Rock's book to anyone looking to read a funny and delightful book.
Rating: Summary: IF YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING.... Review: This book is a 10 if amazon had a rating system Finally wrestling fans get to know about the other side of how our grappling heroes live their life. ROCK is a great example to me that he can achieve so much and be the #1 man in the business in what is still a white male dominated industry. If you smell what the Rock is cooking.....
Rating: Summary: Not as good as Foley Review: This was an easy decent read but no where as good as Mick Foley's book. The Rock simply does not have as much to say. I grew up watching his grandfather and dad wrestle in the bay area, so I was interested in reading about them. In parts of the book he writes as if his character. If found that very annoying.
Rating: Summary: The Rocks Book Review: A great book, and one of the best books I have read in my life. A great life story, and I would recomend it to anyone!
Rating: Summary: KNOW YOUR ROLE AND READ THIS REVIEW! Review: "THE ROCK SAYS" is a book about a wonderful young man and his journey to becoming the biggest name in WWF history. It is filled with pictures from his own personnal collection and pictures owned by the WWF. It has such wonderful detail about his days as a football star at the University of Miami.
Rating: Summary: The rock says this book kicks royal jibroni. Review: You would think a built Samoan making millions of dollars a week wouldn't have a interesting life story but he sure as hell does. Going from a son of a professional wrestler to a player on the Miami Hurricanes football team to becoming a Professional WWF wrestler himself was a great story. Parts were unbelievable though. He wrote some stuff that made him sound better than all men. The costant switching from 1st to 3rd person also gets confusing. I recommend it highly to any of the rocks fan's.
Rating: Summary: wow Review: this is the best book ever
Rating: Summary: Foley's was better Review: Dont get me wrong. I thought this book was very enjoyable. But if you want a better wrestling book, than buy "Have a Nice Day." This book was very good in going behind the scenes. The part where the Rock talks about his Wrestlemania match with Stone Cold was better than any part in Mankind's book. But in the middle of the book the author goes right into the Rock's character, which I hated. If you really want this book go to your local library and pick it up
