Summary: Ronnie Says
Review: The Book "The Rock Says" is one of the best books I have ever read. I have read some pretty good books by such authors as Dean Koontz, Steven King, and Jeffery Archer, but this book has to rank up there with books by those guys. The reason i chose this book to read was because I like wrestling, in fact, I watch it every Monday night on USA, and The Rock is my favorite wrestler. As The Rock began to become more and more popular, the WWF began to invest more and more money in him. As T-Shirt sales went through the roof, they decided it would be in their best interest if The Rock could tell his story in a book. So the WWF got him a book deal and The Rock beagn to write his story. The best part about this book is that it is so real. The Rock wasnt some rich kid from Beverley Hills that was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. The Rock was a Samoan male born in Miami while his family struggled to survive. He went thorugh life without his dad who was mostly on the road during his work in wrestling. As he grew up, he tried new things, and did things all of us normal teenagers do. This book is just a great example of how the Rock is, and is hope for anyone out there who thinks they have it bad. Take a look at the Rock's life, and then you decide who had it bad, if you smell what the rock is cookin'.

Summary: Fun book that gets somewhat annoying
Review: The Rock is my favorite wrester, and as such, it is hard for me to keep myself from rating this book a 5. But, I'm rating on fact not my opinion of the character.

The Rock couldn't tell me a whole lot about his wrestling career that I didn't already know before I read his book, but that's not the part that got to me. When he was writing about actual wrestling matches and events he participated in, writing "in character" with the third person rhetoric is horrible.

I like to hear him talk trash with the best of them, but seeing it in print leaves somewhat of a bad taste in my mouth.

The rest of the book is a tremendous read and makes up for the "in character" short-comings. The behind the scenes stories and stories of his childhood kept me turning the pages.

I'd suggest this book to all wrestling fans, and those who have wondered what goes on behind the scenes.

Review: This book was really awesome! The Rock is my all time favorite wrestler and I was so excited to see that there was a book on him! When I first started reading it, I couldn't put it down! I watch wrestling almost every night and when I see The Rock I know how intresting of a real person he is and not just a guy in leather pants! Even my younger brother wanted me to read it to him! The Rock is an amazing person and if you love wrestling, this is the book for you!

Summary: BEST BOOK!
Review: The Rock Says is the best book I have ever EVER read in my life. The book has everything, from his family life to his career life. A lot of reviewers are comparing The Great One's book with Mick Foley's one, like a reviewer said, The Rock Says is just; BETTER. Reviewers also wrote that he woke up and decided to be a wrestler, thats not true, he watched his father, grandfather wrestle, which interested him in the business. At first, when he came into wrestling, not a lot of people liked him, but he has worked and earned the respect for being the PEOPLE'S CHAMPION. And yes, that was over a period of three years. And nothing can ever compare to being the People's Champ!

IF YOU SMELLLLELELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN'

Summary: The Rock says, not the most electrifieing book in the world
Review: The Rock Says by: Dwane Johnson.

The Rock Says was about a pro-wrestler named Rocky Miavea. His father was a wrestler too. It told all about his life as a kid, and how he was always getting into some kind of trouble. One time, he was on a 30 on one fight, and in his own words "...got my A** kicked!" He has had many memorable events but none more memorable than when he won the world title. His wrestling career has been a story on its own. He has had some of the most grueling matches. He first wrestling character was not as loved as his character of today. His character was as the son of Rocky Johnson so he was a superstar right away. people didn't like that so they all revolted against him. Later, Rocky worked up his charisma and now is a super star. He has a cool family life and his book was fun to read. I give it 3/5 stars because it wasent really special, but it was ok.

Summary: Best Book in Sports Entertainment History (Incomparable)
Review: The Rock Says is my favorite book ever. I don't know why these people are comparing The Great One's book with the Mick Foley's one, The Rock's book is simply, BETTER. Having 3 years of wrestling experience doesn't mean he isn't that greatest and besides, the book isn't all about his wrestling career. Its very interesting, its about his life so far and its got a lot of BEAUTIFUL pictures of himself and his family, a lot of people just sees the wrestling side of him, which is not everything. Having 15 years of wrestling experience doesn't mean you're better, it just means that you're in the business for 15 years!

The Rock Says = BEST DA** BOOK EVER MADE

Have a Nice Day = Original good book

Summary: The Rock Says Don't Read This
Review: I though that this book was patheitc! The problems with the book are very obvious. First of all he writes it in character half the time so we don't really get to see whats its like for him during a big match like you did in Mick Foley's book. Second of all The Rock shouldn't have written a book at this point. He is only 28 years old and it seems like he gained everything way to easy. Foley's book was much better because you get to see how he paid his dues to get his stardom while the Rock just had his stardom handed to him. Lastly the Rock didn't even write the book himself! Mick Foley handwrote everything because he didn't like what the ghostwriter did with the book. Apparently Rock did like it and decided to let the ghostwriter do it all for him. So in my opinion this book is a waste of money and time because I for one do not want to read about him in character and have my intelligence insulted. If your going to buy a wrestling book buy Mick Foley's book because it was heartfelt, captivating and much more emotional than the Rock's book.

Summary: The Best Ever!
Review: Man, the rock did an awesome job writing this book, from telling basically everything about his childhood, to how he kicks butt every night on Raw and at all of the P.P.V's.
