Summary: Disappointing.
Review: When I purchased this, I was under the assumption that the book was going to be all about Wrestlecrap and the bad ideas in wrestling over the years, but it wasn't. Instead, I got a book that simply detailed the history of WCW and the WWF (mentioning both the good and the bad). While that's a nice little story in it's own right, that's not what I paid for. I got the book to read about the likes of Papa Shango and Repo Man, not the Monday ratings wars. While it's true that certain gimmicks are covered, they're only presented in these two ways:

A.) Barely described and only given one sentence or paragraph.

or

B.) Copied and pasted from the WrestleCrap site.

There are far superior wrestling books out there.

Summary: Well written and hilarious!
Review: Wrestlecrap can certainly be considered a work in progress. It has been a few years since Reynolds introduced the world to www.wrestlecrap.com, and he actually expands on his historical entries on said site in this book.

I was thrilled to get this for Christmas, and it has been an amusing casual read. Reynolds knows his stuff, from stats to what has to be a photographic ability to recollect events many of us have (intentionally?) forgotten.

Bottom line:
- Well written
- Well researched
- An easy read (reserve a lazy rainy day!)
- Entertaining from start to finish

My only gripe is the lack of pictures. I found myself yearning for pics of these awful gimmicks and matches as I read.

Next time, Reynolds, more pictures!

100% recommended!
