Review: If you were a fan of Ken Shamrock in any of the fighting circuits then this book should proveide an extreemly good read. If you only know Ken from WWF the this will tell you how he got to be the worlds most dangerous man. I have seen reviews people have written here saying its one sided and untrue but i have to say this is so wrong. Ken Shamrock is my rolemadel and has been for many years. The book is written about him so obviously it will contain information about his great skills and his victories. But when i read the book i found that both ken and Richard spent a fair bit talking about the amazing skills and techniques used by his opponents and how he lost his few matches and why that came about. Not biased at all in my opinion. The History part of the book is both interesting and informative where as the last section about the lions den training and the moves is extreemly good. Have a go at trying a few when someone gets on your nerves!! You will love this book. I know i do!

Summary: Well, the Master of The Octagon,what can you say?
Review: I read this book already like 3 times, and I cant tell you how many times Ive read it sitting on the bowl, traveling, or just reading it to see if someone will actually know what it is I'm reading and make a new friend. This book definately portrayed Ken Shamrock as the man I thought he was. I barely got into the UFC in March of 99' and I rented #1 through #17 in about 1 month. Ken was automatically one of my favorites when he lost so graciously to Royce in UFC#1, it showed me that "Hey, theres actually some smart people out there", you know. Anyway, good book,good pictures,and my mom only read the first opening page or something and said, "See Danny, this guy conquered his inner demons,isn't that good?" I said "Yeah , I know isn't that cool,I think I can do the same thing." So if your out there Ken, thank you, and keep it up!

Summary: The Best book since Bruce Lees Tao Of JKD
Review: I would like to say that this book is definatly the best book I have read since Bruce Lees Tao of Jeet Kune do and well it shows the man behina the curtain and my favorite fighter,"Ken Shamrock" He is the fighter now he has the BEST book. What can I say. Hes the BEST!!

Review: This is a great book that takes you behind the scenes of the ufc,and it takes you into the childhood and life of "America's most dangerous man" Ken shamrock.It is Also great if you want to learn submission holds, self defense tecniques, or if you want to get into the reality fighting business.

Summary: Execellant Book
Review: I loved the parts of this book that I have been able to read. I have had to read it in the book store and thus have not had much time to go over the whole thing but what I have read seems like a very good combination of biography/instruction manual. It is, by no means, compareable to actually seeing the Lions Den, but it is a must read for anyone who has hopes of becoming a good fighter someday. I give it five stars.

Review: I liked this book because it shows that not all pro wrestlers had a good living that some of them had a bad growing up that shamrock came from a bad background and now is one of the most famous ufc fighter and hand to hand combatants.

Summary: A UFC and Pancrase Fans Dream
Review: To the one reviewer who can't type: Shamrock only wrote the second half stupi! This book explains many unanswered questions about Shamrock and the UFC. Beware though, the author of the biography doesn't understand X means ten, V means five. Overall an excellent book definately worth reading.

Review: Ken Shamrocks Inside The Lions Den is the only book that I want to read every word of. Unlike others I find myself skipping words, paragraphs, or even pages to get it finished. My favorite wrestler and UFC No holds barred fighter is Kenny.If you are a Ken Shamrock Fan then dont read those negative comments below. This book contians awsome Lions Den Submission moves. THE BEST BOOK !!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: This is quite possibly the one of the best books I've have read in a long time. If you want good info on a Ken Shamrock get the book, if you want good info on submission fighting, get the book. Its a great all around package.Kennys a much better fighter than people realize.
