Rating: Summary: The Enforcer Review: This book gives insight to a man that the wrestling fans of today don't know very well. They know him as WWF Co-Owner Ric Flair's best friend. They most likely have never had the pleasure of watching him wrestle or meeting him in person. I've had the honor of both. Arn Anderson is a great man. Arn, DDP, and Chris Benoit helped me at a difficult time in my life and because of I believe I am still alive today! They didn't have too but they did. They took a messed up 17 year old with a love for wrestling and pointed her down the right path. Now, at 23 I am following their lead and mentoring others the way they helped me.

Rating: Summary: i have the upmost respect for AA. thanks for the memories AA Review: this book is not a book for letting you in on the secrets of wrestling. its a book about a man, his dream, and the end of his dream but not the end of a good man. arn lets you in his life and takes you from start to start of his career. yes i said start to start. as long as arn anderson is around he will be involed with wrestling. people like aa cant be replaced they are just weakly sustituted. double thumbs up for double AA. and again arn. thanks! bill page
Rating: Summary: the best book on wrestling insight Review: This book tells of the historic career of the greatest wrestler of all time, ARN ANDERSON. This is a must for true "enforcer" fans.
Rating: Summary: Great Book for wrestling fans Review: This is a great book to give readers a glimpse inside the life of a professional wrestler and what the career is like. It is a must for any wrestling fan.
Rating: Summary: Best Book on Pro Wrestling Review: This is by far the best book on professional wrestling ever written. Arn Anderson gives a lot of insight into the business. He tells it like it was and is now. This book is a must have for any true wrestling fan and definitely for anyone who wants to know more about the business.
Rating: Summary: Good Wrestler, Bad Book Review: This is the second time that I have had to submit this review [Does Amazon censor bad reviews?].Anyway, the problem with this book shows up right in the beginning. Arn says, "Professional Wrestling is not fake." Give me a break Arn, is this a "Look Behind the Curtain"? Please do not insult my intelligence. Unfortunately the rest of the book involves Arn patting himself on the back and saying how tough things were in "the old days". This is about as interesting as my dad's stories of walking 3 miles to school, barefoot, in the snow. His writing suggests that he actually "won" titles. Arn, let's get real. You were an average wrestler with good mike skills and could "sell" a match. For that I give you credit. But you were only "given" titles because you were best friends with Ric Flair. Don't write that somehow you "won" these matches. Dusty Rhodes or whoever the booker was at the time decided if you won or lost a match. To hear Arn put it, he was one of the all-time greats, and that his work ethic put him over the top. PLEASE! If wrestling were real the Road Warriors would have killed you within 10 seconds. Arn doesn't even write what happened to Tully Blanchard, who was Arn's tag team partner for years, and who seemed to disappear off the face of the earth [I heard he is a minister in a church down south]. It is a shame because a fan of the old 4 Horsemen I was expecting a good book.
Rating: Summary: A great read about one of Wrestlings greatest! Review: What can I say? The book was written by Arn Anderson, AA! If you are looking for dirt here you wont find it. Arn doesn't say a lot about the other wrestlers, except funny stories. If you can get past the grammar and spelling mistakes - this book was rushed, by the looks of it - it is a great read, very pro-Horsemen with lots of "We did it first" comments...referring to the NWO.
Rating: Summary: Double "A" is doubly great! Review: You will be disappointed if you expect a tell all book. This book does not reveal any dirt on other wrestlers nor does it break "kayfabe". What it does, is tell us a story of a man who lived his dream, a man who loved his profession, and most of all a man who loves his family. I have always repected Arn Anderson as a wrestler, but my respect went up a few notches after reading this book. I have had the priviledge of seeing Arn Anderson wrestle live many times and can remember all the matches and great events he talks about in this book. He took me down memory lane with his recounts of his matches against the Koloff's and Rock n' Roll Express, his first time in the WWF, his retirement speech and subsequent mock of it by the NWO. This book is a must for all old school NWA fans and a delight for the later WCW fans, I couldn't put it down. Thank you Arn!
