Rating: Summary: A Wonderful Adventure Story Review: While not destined to become a mangum opus of its genre, this short volume recounts a true story of a sailing adventure -- at once compelling, humorous, terrifying, thought provoking. Certainly worth the relatively short read. Qualifies as a truly interesting story of a father and son team who set out to sail around Cape Horn, the southernmost tip of South America, the "bottom of the world." Not using motors, GPS navigation systems, and the like, but old fashioned sailing, survival and navigation skills. Also a story of a father/son relationship and its development during this adventure and ordeal.
