Summary: Hardy Boys Exzist To Inspire
Review: I have many wwe books but this is by far my favorite. It's not just my favorite wwe book but my favorite book of all time. i really incourage any Matt or Jeff hardy fan to have this book. even if you are just a wwe fan you should get it. it talks about OMEGA the small wrestling type company thing the hardy boys had made up. then it goes on through there corier in wwf and wwe. ther's also some great pictures in it. it talks about the cage matches, table, ladder, tlc, hardcore, and single matches they each been through. it shows how they break they're bodies to give us entertainment. and there is so much more in the book. this is a must have book for any wwe fan. it could also be a great present. i got it for my birthday from my best bud.

Summary: Not as great as expected
Review: I must say, when I heard 2 of my favorite wrestlers were writing a book I was ecstatic. I couldn't wait to read it.
Well, I bought it yesterday and read it all. Someone really needed to proofread this book because there were many mistakes.
It was also quite boring. Most of the book was a detailed, step by step, description of their wrestling matches. I mean come on, I'd seen the matches already, I didn't need them described to me. I thought the point of the book was to read about them away from the ring.
And when they did speak about their personal lives they didn't elaborate on things they should have. They would state something but wouldn't give an example situation. Suddenly the story would be dropped. I expected more about their mother and father but their wasn't much. I think the only situation they went into detail about was when Lita broke her neck.
The pictures [werent very good quality, either]. Most of them were pictures fans had seen millions of times. Many were boring because they were just action shots. I wanted to see some home photos.
I would say, if you're a fan that wants to see the personal side of the Hardyz by reading this book, you'll be soarly disappointed. There are only fragments of that side of the Hardyz.

Summary: When is Billy Gunn writing a book?
Review: I only give this book two stars to be kind. I don't understand why everyone has an autobiography. They should be reserved for icons and legends who are willing to be honest and will write a piece of literature that will contribute to the history of wrestling. Much like Chyna, Lita, Bill Goldberg and Diamond Dallas Page, this is another novelty joke of an autobiography. Writing a book used to mean something and these people are urinating on what it takes to be author.

It is hard enough to fight for the respect of the business when there are really good books out there for the business. However, we got these mock authors who write their jokes of an autobiography. It is not right for these pieces of to be published. I am waiting for the useless life stories of Bill DeMott and Billy Gunn. I guess I ever have a 3 legged table they will come in handy.

Summary: Amazingly better than I hoped!
Review: I read this right after reading Jerry Lawler's very dissapointing biography, so to be honest i wasn't expecting a whole lot.
What i got was frank, interesting and totally honest account of their careers up to now. They had more interesting anecdotes about life behind the scenes and life on the road in their 7 years careers than Lawler managed to come up with after 30 years in the business! At first glance the style of the book looked like it could be annoying (in interview style with comments from them both) but it turned out to highly informative, getting their often different opinions on matches and events in their lives. Their were never less than frank, and did not need to descend to the butt kissing that Lawler did for the McMahons. Kudos to them and to WWE for allowing their opionions to be published uncensored.
In short, a great, fast read, packed with great stories and fascinating opinions from both brothers. WELL DONE!

Summary: Hardy Boyz
Review: I thought the book was awesome! It gives detailed information about the boys journey through the indies and some of their biggest matches in the WWE. It also gives some more detail about their personalities and their personal lives. It was a great, quick read (the chapter are between 1-2 pages long) and quite enjoyable. Even if you're not a Hardy Boyz fan, but a wrestling fan, you'll still enjoy the book.

Summary: Ten times better than what I was expecting...
Review: I was expecting a WWE/WWF fluff piece similar to most WWE-published biographies and books that I've read before, sprinkled with some stories, supposedly written by the superstars themselves but we all just KNOW the ghostwriter wrote most of it himself and liberally changed the facts as needed.

I was totally wrong here.

This book is fantastic. It pulls NO punches with anything, as the brothers are refreshingly honest throughout the entire book. It's obvious that whomever helped the brothers write this took a backseat and just recorded what Matt and Jeff had to say, and the result is an extremely interesting look at the wrestling business and how two fans managed to make it big in the business. I was also SHOCKED at how honest they were with everything. From being critical of their fellow wrestlers, to each other and their friends...the boys pulled zero punches here. The result is, in my opinion, the best book the WWF/WWE has had published since Mick Foley's two biographical books.

If you're a wrestling fan, you definetly want this. Non wrestling fans might not be as into this book as they may have been upon giving Foley's books a try, which is my only real criticism of the book itself, but then again the market is so saturated with wrestling biographies as opposed to when Have a Nice Day came out that one really cannot knock the book for this. But for wrestling fans, marks and smart marks alike, this is a wonderful book. For wrestling fans - my highest recommendation!

Summary: Entertaining insight into WWE duo
Review: I'm not a big fan of WWE but I'd read Kurt Angle's and Bill Goldberg's biographies and I thought I might enjoy this. The good news is that I did. The Hardy Boyz manage to put across their contrasting personalities and it was fun learning about their early life and first steps into pro wrestling - they've certainly earned their dues.

The structure of the book works well. Matt and Jeff take turns to tell their experiences so it's as if you're reading a magazine interview with them. The photos are great too. A picture of Jeff jobbing for Razor Ramon before he got trendy with his street image, is worth the cover price alone.

On the downside, the long descriptions of individual matches towards the end of the book get a bit tedious but overall this is an exciting, informative guide to the Hardy brothers.

Summary: New respect for the performers
Review: I've been a wrestling fan almost all my life (around 25yrs). I thought this book would be an interesting read. It went well beyond my expectaions. I consider myself a fan of all the performers, who risk life to entertain us. I'm a Hardy fan from the begining of thier career, but after reading this book. I'm a dedicated hardcore fan. It's fastinating to honestly hear about their trials and tribulations. And it really is truely motivating. Reading this and seeing where they came from and how hard they worked to get there, makes you feel like you could get upoff the couch and truely acheive a dream as well. 'Inspire' is not just a fancy name in the title. Read the book...you will be inspired.

Summary: Good as Foley; Tell it like it is!
Review: I've read every WWE book that has come out, including the WrestleMania book. The only couple I have yet to read are Moolah's, Blassie's, and The Kings however I'm gonna pick up Blassie and Lawler soon.

Each WWE Book brings a new attitude to the table. They are all very informative and show you the true pride and passion each person had to use to get to where they are in the Wrestling Business. While Foley went off on tangents and explained crazy antics he has done, the rest fall short of being the best.

However, The Hardyz's book is exceptional. It doesn't go off on tangents, it tells things like it is and it shows a fun side to the business but also a downside. Unlike Hogan seemed to do a lot, both Hardyz admitted when the company was down and when things sucked. They weren't afraid to express that they would rather be off doing OMEGA (the independent federation they founded as teenagers) shows than being in the WWE. Yet their passion and pride kept them going even though fate was throwing them curveballs.

This book also seems to give more of an insight on how Jeff Hardy thinks. A lot of people wonder what sparked his separation with the company, this book eluded to it 2 months before he was finally released from his contract. Matt also shows his passion in a new light and even if you don't like Matt I think you can develop a certain amount of respect for him through this book. Their bluntness and not blowing things out of proportion truly made this book unique and one of a king. A must read for any wrestling fan.
