Summary: Proud to be an Earnhardt!
Review: This book is a "can't put it down" type book, especially for a NASCAR fan. I was very impressed with the honesty that Jr put into this. Having such a busy schedule and finding the time to write a book shows he cares about the fans and wants us to know there is more to racing a car than sitting behind the wheel..."I'm Impressed!" I look forward to reading another book Jr. Good luck in 2002! See ya at the finish line!

Summary: Fantastic, personal glimps
Review: I am not usually an autobiography reader, but I was more than interested in what Little E had to say. He is a young, energetic guy with a fresh attitude toward driving and NASCAR in general. I enjoyed reading his perspective on the fans, the media, the sponsors, and especially on the other drivers. On TV, you only gets snippets of edited sound bites, but this book gives the fans a chance to spend "a season in the life" of a real guy living an unreal life. He doesn't hide the bad stuff for the sake book - he is honest and forthcoming - very refreshing.
Great effort by Earnhardt!

Summary: This Book Delivers As Well As Jr. Does On The Track!
Review: From his very first Daytona 500 through the one that took his father's life, this IS Dale Jr. With an excellent writing style and a down-to-earth attitude, these 300 pages seemed as if they were only 30 as fast as I read through it. Insights not only into the behind the scenes part of NASCAR, but into his own life as well, both professional and personal, I felt like I had known him for years by the time I had finished. A must read for any Dale Jr. fan, and well worth your time if you're not.

Summary: Best book EVER!
Review: This book is an excellent account of a rookies first year racing. It takes you behind the scenes, and you really get to know what the drivers think. I bought this book because I love Junior, and the book just makes me love him more. You've got to get it, you wont regret it! GO #8!

Summary: All Nascar Fans Must Read
Review: First off I was not a Dale Jr. fan but after reading this book I gained a new perspective of this man. It gives you a first hand look into his life and all the personal and private things he goes through. I laughed and cried while reading this and it is his first hand knowledge of the 2000 season seen through his eyes and it is one book every race fan needs to read....I am slowing becoming a #8 fan....

Summary: Fast Interesting Read
Review: This book is excellent. It is such a fast read, and written for the exact perspective that any NASCAR fan will love. You feel like you are looking over Jr's shoulder the whole year. If you even have an interest in NASCAR....read this book and you'll be cheering for #8 regardless if you wanted to or not.

Summary: Great job, Earnhardt!
Review: Dale Earnhardt, Jr. We all know he is a great racecar driver, now he has proved to be a great write, as well. I have read his Nascar online column many times, so to me, this comes as no surprise. Jr takes readers inside the garage area with hi, sharing details of his life so few get to see. While he professes that this is not really an autobiography, he drops little phrases in here and there, showing a side I never knew exsisted. This is a great book that really captures Dale Jr's personality. It should, he wrote it. And did himself proud. One hellavu read!

Summary: Great Book
Review: I've read thousands of books, and this is the best book that I've ever read. It is very easy to read, gives the reader a feel of actually being at the track and a better idea of what racer realy go through. I just wish it had been longer. Hopefully he'll write another someday!

Summary: Great Down To Earth
Review: This is a great book on the rookie season of Dale Jr. I am a big fan of NASCAR and Jr. takes you behind the sceens on the road with him. A must read for the Dale Jr. Fan. He talks about from the time he arrives at each track until the end of the race in a step by step, day to day life of a NASCAR driver.
