Review: This book is a must read. You will not be able to put it down. If you want to read about a legend, this is a great read. There are stories from Parcells, Belichek, teamates and many others who talk about LT.

I bought the book last week, and I wasn't able to put it down. I finished the book in 2 days.

Never heard of the Author, but he did a great job.

Summary: LT is the man
Review: This book was so awesome! Another great book - at least if you're a guy - is The Nice Guys Guide to Getting Girls. I am a huge football and Lawrence Taylor fan. He was a tough, wild, courageous player who didn't let injuries stop him from performing on the field...and performing at his best. This book illustrates a kick-a** football player that gave into a world of temptations, but recovered and put his life back together.

Summary: I can think of 56 good reasons to read this book !!!
Review: This brutally honest look at Lawrence Taylor's life is a must read. Although LT has been described as larger-than-life, reading about the protagonist's ascent from rock bottom including overcoming a powerful drug addiction, makes you see LT for who he really is, human. Excellent job by Steve Serby in extracting the candidly raw details of LT's life. The book is a story about survival, overcoming obstacles and I couldn't put it down! Lawrence Taylor's life may have gone horribly awry, but, you still find yourself cheering LT LT LT

Summary: LT OUT OF CONTROL
Review: THIS IS A VERY HONEST AND HARD LOOK AT LAWRENCE TAYLOR WRITTEN BY HIMSELF. HE GOES THRU THE NIGHTMARES OF THIS ADDICTIONS WITH HONESTY AND DETAIL. THE MANY SET BACKS AND ATTEMPTS AT SOBRIETY ARE VERY INTERESTING AND FRIGHTENING. HE WAS A GREAT PLAYER FOR MANY YEARS FOR THE GIANTS. LT HAS FINALLY GOTTEN A HANDLE ON HIS DEMONS AND IS NOW SOMEONE TO RESPECT. I FOUND THIS TO A WELL WRITTEN BOOK AND RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANYONE.

Summary: lt over the edge
Review: Thought the author Serby did a great job in getting Taylor to open up and tell his story. As a reporter/author his job was to accurately portray his subjects actions,as outrageous as they might be. No question he has done that while keeping faith with Taylor as well as the reader. I think it is a great story exceptionally told of a man's attempt at redemtion. As a football fan and a human being I hope he makes it.......

Summary: Bravo, Mr. Taylor you are a real hero...BRAVO!!!!
Review: When I read the first thirty-nine pages of this book, I was hooked. Granted, I am not the best-unbiased individual because I have always adored Lawrence Taylor (my ex-boyfriend looks just like him and play the game like him also). I thought I would read a bunch of ego-driven drivel. To my surprise this human man opens up his heart to anyone who reads this book. He is so honest it's frightening. When he apologizes to his ex-wife in the book I cried. The fact that his amazing gentleman had the strength to conquer his demons and felt so secure in his manhood that he could share this most intimate experience should be celebrated, no must be celebrated. Not only is he the greatest (well one of the greatest, Mean Joe Greene is the greatest) defensive player possibility the greatest NFL player, he is a real man. Bravo Mr. Taylor, BRAVO!!!!
