Summary: He sayz it like a true WWF Champion.
Review: I loved IT!!!!!!! It was the greatest book in the world. I ead though 100's of times. It was much better than Have A Nice Day by Mankind. My friends bought it to and they aggree that it was worth the 20$ that we got it for ( it was cheaper than usaully cause I bought it in Japan ). I recomend EVERYBODY to get this book.

Summary: An Inside Look at Pro Wrestling
Review: I read this book right before the Rock had his big Iron Man Match with Tripple H at Judgement Day. The Rock tells it like it is in his own words, giving readers an accurate insiders look at pro wrestling. A must for pro wrestling fans, but his profuse use of foul language makes this book inappropriate for younger readers.

Summary: He Knows His Role
Review: I have recently read The Rock's book, "The Rock Says..." and I could not put it down. I think that for a man of his professional status and age, he has accomplished a lot both personally and professionally. The Rock went into depth about his own persona and the WWF. He really explained to us how it's done...how he likes to get it done. He did layeth the smaketh down and he brought it on! Being a 23 year old female, I happen to find this man distinguished, defined, intelligent, charsmatic and hot! On the side note, I had the chance to run into The Rock in Philadelphia March 26, 1999 . He was here for Wrestlemania and I accidentially ran into him at a local night club. I knew of him but did not know much about his professional image. While I was passing him, I turned to him and with hopeful doubt I asked, "Rock? " He turned his head, wearing his $200 sunglasses, smiled and gave me " The People's Eyebrow". From that moment on...I have been a fan of The Rock. After reading his book, I am glad to say that I have met "The People's Champion" because in my mind, he is a Champion to the people!

Summary: Interesting at times but too Much Like a Wrestling Match
Review: On the whole this is an enjoyable book. It is fun to read and at times an interesting behinds the scenes look at the world of wrestling.

The book is very good when the rock is telling his story and the story of his family. His wrestling grandfather and father, growing up, his days as a football player, and the road to becoming a wrestler are great. These are the best parts of the book.

However, too much of the book is simply a recap of his matches and performances at various pay-per-view events. When the book boggs down in the retelling, in character, of how the matches went the book is stupid.

But when the Rock discusses the behind the scenes action. Then the book is very good. Had the Rock gone into more detail about Wrestling, the business, and gave less recaps of King of the Ring matches, the book would have been great instead of just good.

Again, its a fun book. It is good autobiography at times as well as an interesting behind the scenes look at wrestling. However, what holds the book back are excessive amounts of match recaps.

Summary: Not enough to put in a book
Review: Dwayne Johnson has acomplished a lot in his 28 years but not enough to write a book. He's only been in the public eye for about 4 years so he just doesn't have enough to say. The parts from college and his youth were well done though. The book was very well written. The content was very good. Many things can be learned about Dwyane Johnson from this book.

Summary: The Rock is right on target with this book!
Review: The Rock, on the heels of the first original wrestling book (Mankind's Have a Nice Day) this book is no copy. I ordered this book before it came out here on Amazon.com. I read it quickly and diligently and it is an excellent read. It starts with Rock's family and his teenage years and michtef (you'll see what I'm talking about one you read the book). Then it moves into his college years. Him strating in to wrestling. Meeting a woman (Dany) and marrying her dispite her parents wishes and then it showes how hard Rocky works from a bad wrestler to a good wrestler. You'll see what I'm talking about. If you don't order this book that was at the top of the New York Times best selling list then your're really missing out.

Summary: THE ROCK SAYS...
Review: This book is witty, charming, and fantastic; exactly like the subject himself. I am not usualy a big book reader, but once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. I as a wrestling fanatic can actually remember hearing him saying some of his "nursery rhymes". they are wonderful. I learned a lot about The Rock I never knew about him, and about wrestling itself. I would recommened this book to all of his "millions and millons of fans around the world."

Summary: Some Great stuff, some so-so stuff
Review: Well..I took Foley's advice and went and read the Rock's damn book. The first part of The Rock Says, ghost written by Joe Layden, is extremely interesting, giving the reader a lot of information about the Rock's youth, his family, his start in wrestling and how he became the star he is today. This was all very well written and extremely interesting, and I really enjoyed it. Towards the end, however, in more or less the second half of the book, The Rock does the in-character rants that are both un-necessary and could of been more well-written Joe Layden stuff on the rock's career. I found myself skipping through the in character stuff, but the actual stories and information I couldent get enough of. It was extremely well written and interesting. It's a worthwhile read, especially if you're a rock fan, I just think the book could of done without the stuff in the second half.

Summary: I have to say perfect
Review: Well lets see where to begin even if your not a wrestling fan this book is for you! I need to say that I review wrestling ppv's and wrestling related products and this by far is one of the best.A detailed look at The Great One! Recomended Highly!

Summary: Excellent Book...
Review: This was an extremely good book. I had a difficult time putting it down. It took me about 3 days to read it cover to cover. For someone who does not read AT ALL, that's amazing. Joe Layden did a remarkable job at capturing the thoughts of The Rock. You can picture everything happening like you were there. Wonderfully written, very entertaining, humorous, this book has it all. I would recommend it to anyone who has interest in the WWF, The Rock, or just wrestling in general.
